Indoor Copacabana, Muay Thai, Love Potion LED tent grow

Those are some great looking plants! Too bad about the Thai, I hope she pulls through for you.

Have you tried the Love Potion yet? I'm thinking of buying some seeds of this for the spring, and would love to hear your review.

Hey bro, thanks, I'm looking at early harvesting some Thai if I can't keep it under control, I'm optimistic though.

The Love Potion is nice, I haven't smoked a lot of it yet because I'm waiting for it to cure a bit before I make a real evaluation.

For the moment, smokes very smooth, sweet smoke. Smell in the jar is a nice up-front dank smell, like dank rotting fruit-mango dank. Reminds me of old bag smells from the past. If you smelled the jar you would definitely want some, let's put it that way. lol.

I let mine get good and ripe but the high seems to mellow out this way so it produces no anxiety or ill effects like that if you're sensitive to that kind of thing.

Takes about 8 minutes to really start coming on, first inhales you know you've just smoked some potent sativa but you're not sure where you're headied off to yet. Good feeling positive weed starts lifting you in periodic waves. Has an energetic effect on the heart/chest area and for medicinal use controlled blood pressure very well.

Not a lot of body in the high except from the ambering of the harvest. Feeling in body is very healthy and gives a clear mind. I can focus if I want to but otherwise it quiets the mind and feels a healthy positive effect and good humour like I would want in a good bud. For me, it's not like falling in love with a Dutch Passion Strawberry Cough seed I grew once but I do like it and want to experience it more, maybe smoking it several times a day when I have time and it's cured so I can decide what level of "I like it" I am at with the Love Potion.

The pheno I had was a good grower and stayed short and fast at about 60cm or so, I did lst a little. I think there's around 45 grams or so but I don't have any scale so I don't really know. I'll go ahead and put up a few pictures of the buds, what the heck give me a few minutes

Dang, camera is out of juice, it will have to be next time, sorry gettin' late

Sorry to hear about the bud rot. An RH of 45-50% with good circulation should be enough to avoid bud rot. Did you try placing the Hygrometer closer to the canopy? I noticed in my tent there can be a difference of 10-15% depending on where you place it.

Anyway, some great growing in this thread :slap:

Hey dirty budster, thanks for stoppin' by and thanks for the rep.

I was really surprised to find the rot but I'm guessing the rh probably was high there, locally, in the spots where the buds were compacted against the tent, and air not able to circulate well there. I never thought about putting the hygrometer in or near the canopy but looking back would have helped me identify the problem sooner I'm sure. I'll take the blame here but I think she will finish out okay in the end.

It's really been tough having her crammed into my little tent but I sprayed her again today, removed some more small colas near the edge, cleaned the tent. I'll be pulling her out every day now for inspection.

It's a good learning experience either way :smoker:

Hey dude your girls are all beautiful man you should be really proud.
HAve you ever thought about a small dehumidifier to keep the RH steady and to prevent bud rot?
You can get 300w-600w models that do the job just fine.

I've had the same problem that the RH was too high locally and lost some buds to rot. It sucks. I just cut away the bad buds and check the rest carefully. You can usually spot it if you look at the sugar leaves, if they start turning brown, gently tug on them and if they come loose really easily there's usually bud rot in the center of the bud.

Hey, Grim, thank you, it's a good idea. I hadn't really thought about it because I thought the environment here inside was just fine. It's a bit late now of course. I would hope to control the problem by choosing strains more carefully in the future, and not trying to grow the biggest auto on earth in my little tent. It'll be after the new year before I consider cranking up another run, and it does rain here a lot in the winter so I'll have to see what the rh is like inside the house, I might need a dehuey for the winter season. Thanks again for the feedback and the likes. I do think the plants have done well and am proud to pull off my first real auto run successfully to this point.

Thanks, budster, I can understand now why it happened but I think it's not spreading. Thanks for the tip about the browning leaves, I'll remember that one.

The questionable buds still had green leaves but the pistils were no longer tan and white, but rather a muddy brown and looked like the bud was kind of disintegrating a bit, looking ghostly-like. It does not appear to have spread, just a couple bad small buds and removed other small branches nearby for safety sake. I'll keep an eye on them and update if any more rot appears.

Thanks for the feedback, guys, much appreciated and getting some good experience here.

Hey, well thank you, it's an honor. I'm proud to show her off she's been a nice plant. It's been a lot fun trying some strains that don't get a lot of attention to see what they're like. The copa is getting stickier by the day, I really couldn't be more pleased with her. Glad you like her too, thanks bro for the compliments, thank you everyone
