New Grower Cool Blue Pot Question

Hi AFN,

I found this and it's a perfect cylinder and is exactly 2 Gallons.

I want to use it, but I'm not sure if I have to wrap it in something because too much light will disturb the roots. Here's me in the dark holding a mag light in. See how much comes through?

Is that ok, or should I do something about it?

I think that would be fine to grow in, you could always wrap it in duct tape to be safe.

if your growing in soil or soil less i use nothing but fabric...smart pots are my favorite, cuz plastic sux...hahaha if for hydro i would wrap in tape or spray paint as to let no lite in...

Yea i highly recommend fabric pots like smashed suggested. He is the reason I got mine, and I love them! Air pruned roots FTW

Alright then. I guess I'll need some blue duct tape or spray paint- I like the color!
