New Grower Consistency in Autos

greetings Mojo, Namvet , Archie and Medlion,
hopefully someone will shine some expert light on this one.
sadly it wont be this non-expert!
i wonder if a bit of home-breeding might be the answer;
y`know, selecting the phenotypes you preferred, selfing them in order to narrow the gene pool, something like that.
would be great if we had a genetics expert in the network. maybe we do.
i had the same issues with my first auto-grow-Sensi's Northern lights auto; 3 phenos within a 10 grow.
its kinda nice to have a bit of variance but if you are doing a big grow and want to rely on automation for feeding/watering,
then yes i agree you definitely want a bit more consistency.
maybe that's why cloning is such a common practice with the bigger photo growers.
i will watch this space.

I tend to agree with Namvet. i think its just a matter of finding a variety that has been grown out and has stabilized towrd one or two phenotypes im gonna give mephisto genetics a shot and see what happens. I also just did a seed run with NLxBigbud. I grew 4 plants and they were pretty close. On a side note I got 1988 mature seeds from this grow as well as almost 6oz of smoke

ID really like to stay with Dutch Passion for a while, but If i cannot find a more stable strain than TD then i need to move on and continue my search for greatness, @DutchPassionTony can you possibly shead some light on this matter? Which autoFem from you guys are most/more stable? Im ordering beans soon so I really need some advice asap

i had 5 sour cracks and by the size they were all the same , now im doing toof decay and two sour blues and it seems they they are same phenos too, auto super skunk from strain hunters got one pheo too,maybee you were just unLucky?

Thanks for responding everyone. The thing is is that I like the big bang. Growing a few at a time would be great. I just lost control when I tried too many at once. But its great weed and 3 or 4 plants would minimize the differences between phenotypes or me.
