Got a feeling I'm going to be tying down more growth over the coming days, the smaller gal is hard as she is so compact. It's definitely good practice, next time I will start sooner, I am tempted to top one or both of them.. Thoughts?

I would think depends on strain and how long it grows and how big it gets I did a side by side on UK cheese that was 10 weeks and I got alot smaller bud sites but way more of them. I can't find my old phone I have pics. I'd say lst done properly seems to be the staple for me but I know topping would be awesome for longer strains hope to try in future

Well fast Eddy is supposed to be around 100cm and Stress killer (Sativa) goes to about 140cm. In the past my top buds always get rather close to my light. If I was going to give it a go, it would be with the Stress Killer as she is 60% Sativa. I dunno I might give her a couple more days and see how the new growth does. Is there a point where you shouldn't top? Is 2/3 weeks too late in her development?

Yeah from my experience as long as plant is healthy and still very much in the short veg period as in that stage where it explodes in grow is too late I did when the plant had 4 side shoots starting so it had somewhere to transfer the growth it didn't seem to notice grew at same rate basically

Yeah that's good video he did it at same time I did, he has about 4 small shoots started I not sure what he is talking about with the pistols, almost sounds like he's saying that it will delay that top shoot from going into early flower, now that would be awesome! To be honest most of strains I went with are on faster side and I don't think I seen pistols when plant was that small on any of mine except for the 2 had under t5s that grew into like 2 bud plants lol I will definetly try it on any I think are starting to early even the guy I kinda growing like on YouTube Mr canuk grow he has video I topped an auto. I'm kinda on fence still tho haha plz keep me updated on ur grow and how it goes. I got one more Jack herer I can try something with I ordered 1 got pack of 5 so it's been my trial and error strain lol

Yea I am not sure about the whole pistal thing.. But fuck it, I went for it, she seems to be responding well, I also removed a tiny shoot that was under all the canapy and getting no light and growing close to the soil, so took it off, since then two other shoots seem to have start standing up more. Its definitely interesting. And just done it on the one this time.

Just literally took somemore pics, tried to getsome decent close ups.

Last couple are of fast Eddy, she's just being trained as she is a short plant anyway.

But fuck it, I went for it, she seems to be responding well, I also removed a tiny shoot that was under all the canapy and getting no light and growing close to the soil, so took it off, since then two other shoots seem to have start standing up more. Yeah to be honest your plants look better then his nice tight nodes and all the nice exposed new tops I think your gonna have some nice heavy plants. I find as long as you keep that main site tied below the rest I can't tell which one of my colas is main Cola until I really look under lol

Been a while since I posted any updates we are on about day 37ish (Did work it out earlier) but forgot lol.

So they are both flowering, Stress Killer has stayed her short compact self, I think I stunted her, but it's all good, she'll still give me some nice bud.

And Fast Eddy who was topped and is loving it I think, I just pulled the main grow site down to expose more light into the canopy, and have begun training the other grow spots.. I will definitely 100% be Topping and training in future, but will begin the training much earlier as its been hard keeping the leaves out the way and the fresh growth has taken damage at times.. I also lost a fan leaf, tho tbf it had no where to go and was so big it cut off too much light. But here are some pics.. Before I pulled the main cola back..

Here is her now with main cola pinned back to expose more light and try to keep everything at the same level.

Current temperature and humidity

I don't think it looks as tidy as it could be, and lots of leaves underneath and close to soil, guessing that's not ideal but hey ho.

Yeah looking good just quick question on your temps I have same meter says your having lows of 13.5 high 25 that's over ten degree drop which is too much fluctuation from what I understand 10 degree is alot and only in late flower to induce more colourful herb. I could be wrong id double Cheak with pro on AFN ,but I'm guessing it's stunting your growth I also had p.m issues when getting that cold. I find my plants grow better if can keep at 20c low
