colloidal silver 8ppm

Hey guys. I put some cs on while I slept and it is only 8ppms. Using 1 gram silver bars and generato is 9volt 300ma. Its been running about 6 hours and I wiped off black soot on bars. What ppm should I shoot for and should I step up generator? Thanks.

I think the general opinion is that it should be at or over 150 ppm. Seems like it should have gone way over 8 ppm in 6 hrs... Even with a low mah. That just doesn't seem right lol. If it's a battery, it could be dead?

No battery, and I thought it should be higher as well. Maybe the black corrosion stuffage had ke a bad connection. Ill check it again in an hour or so and if its not riseing ill swap out power supplys. Ive got tons, I never throw anything away lol.

I think it's more like 50PPM. It's really slow with a low ma power supply, eventually the particles allow better conductivity through the water so it will speed up quite quickly. Double check your electrodes are not too far apart 1-1.5inch. An air bubbler will speed up and enhance the CS creation.

that black corrosion is perfectly natural. Its actually a good sign that you are making cs. Just wipe the bars clean and put them back like you did.
Its not a bad thing if it takes longer to make the cs. Imo the faster its made the bigger the particles are. Smaller is better. Just keep doin your thing it seems like you are well on your way to getting good cs.

Silver wire is better then bars for makin your cs. Next time consider using wire

Yup, you don't need anything higher. You can probably push the ppm up with different techniques for making it, but 15-30 should be enough. In fact, using spray with a lower ppm level allows you to spray more often and get more even coverage without risking burning the plant. Yellow stuff does work, but it means the particles are slightly bigger than those in a clear solution. If you cant get the ppm past 8, try adding an air pump and airstone. Also, clean the wires often once they start getting residue on them. It will happen faster and faster as the ppm rises.

Thanks for the corrections, I don't know how I got 150 ppm stuck in my head all this time lol. Swore I had read many uses at that ppm. Anyway didn't mean to throw ya off there sorry Btw I found the silver wire is pretty cheap on ebay, if bought by the foot, I figured 1 foot makes two 6" electrodes that should last a few cs cookings. It was .925 not .999 so it's not going to be as pure, but for just under $10, worth a try.
