Purple OG--retarded bud growth. Second grow--last Purple OG was stunted with same oddball looking buds. It sure has a strong--blueberry aroma. May be a good smoke very low yield--7 grams est.

Waira spotted this plant as likely P and mag def.

It has recovered--all new growth dark green.

Ugly leaves = cosmetic only. Odd for all given same feed and this one was the only one reacted--poorly. Can see the burn also from a high PH swing. Must have just gotten fed that was not mixed properly--just one time. I did add some diatomaeous earth about the same time which may be a contributing factor. However--should still be good and going on water.

Waira get with me to discuss buds growth. We ought to have a library of different growth of buds--due to: heat, hermie, too much P or K etc.

And--I think we ought to find out if autos are lacking the lights off flowering hormone or is it just on 24/7. However, it still would be genetic that is why autos need a lot of R and D before released. The two Narcos likely need more dark. So, upped to 19/5. This particular strain may have much more photo influence. Its buds are slow going and noted a few bud anomalies. Not much trich showing yet has a good hashish/WW aroma.

Harvest part 1 of 3:

This grow have spent much more time with plants. Over the years, it becomes almost intuitive checking on plants. Can now just take a quick look at trichs, evaluate ripening (aroma,stigmas etc.) and harvest about right within minutes. In the past--had to do the old check list--stigmas dried 75% etc. Now--more experience based.

OK---With coco one needs to use 3 gallon pots/bags in order to drop feed/watering to every other day. Two gallon = daily watering during flowering.

Harvest procedure:

1. Two days in dark. Pre-trim fans and easy to get to leaves.

2. Cut branches--five minute hydrogen peroxide bath and then a water spray. This grow only foliared with Rhizo for a week or so. Dusty environment here--so decide to try. In fact, may help with dry/cure. Wet branches are easy to trim and water dissipates quickly. Cervantes--favors manicuring before dry. In past, have dried branches due to dry environment. Now--it appears manicuring is best for me.

3. Dry about four to five days.

4. Bagged in bags similar to turkey bags. Will transfer to jars in a few weeks to store.

Note: Third of three freebie Delicious Purple OGs (named after some European rapper)--first seed = no germ, second = stunted with retarded bud growth and male flowers, this third grow--small, retarded bud growth and flipped. Just a few seeds found. Likely pollinated a few buds here and there elsewhere.

Bubba note new growth. Recovered quickly but no recovery of affected leaves. Only one time with a PH swing caused a temporary issue. Can see the area of yellow where trimmed leaves.

Two Narcotherapy. Slow to ripen at ten weeks. Dropped lights to 18/6. Stopped NPK this week. Started a one 1/2 to two week rinse. First time have forced a coco grow to use up mobile nutes. This plant must need heavy feeding. I would say if the stigmas will change color and start drying--it ought to be ready end of next week. All trichs in buds - cloudy, just has little to no trichs on sugar leaves.

This was a good grow for the most part. Do use three gallon containers daily watering is tedious--though--forces one to check plants often.

Update 2 of 3

Narcotherapy is nearing 11 weeks from germ.

These plants are ripe and have a skunky fruit aroma. House is blanketed with the aroma.

In three gallon or bigger containers these could be some of biggest autos ever similar to AKR.

Pots dry in tent for dark period.

I am curing all for minimum two weeks before sample.

Howdy Nabzter--no yield count. Most of lower buds etc. keeping for hash.

Just blindly reached in each bag for a bud. Right to left---the tightest/heaviest and stickiest = yes--Sweet Seeds Black Jack, Purple OG--surprised--mellow with a pure lemon aroma--like a sweet tart, Ice, Bubba and last is the Narcotherapy still curing.

Nothing too sexy per nuggs.

Sampled--Purple OG and BJ---excellent. The pre-harvest wash helped with extending drying by a day or so and the gold bags--made all the difference. Jars in my environment absorb heat etc.
