The lower the number the more red it has in it. I’m leaning more towards 3500k and 3000k the 3500k is great for vegging and the 3000k give that red boost in flower
So end the end 2 3000k and 2 3500k for my size tent would be optimal?

Just did some figuring and it’s cheaper to run 4 of these then I thought. Even with fairly high electric rates. Under $300 a year for 19 hrs on for 12 months. Hmm well worth it considering a oz cost about that and that’s not even a month supply.

Yes that’s exactly what I would run in there. If it was a little larger like a 4 x 4 you could run four autocobs and supplement with the LED in the middle.

This is one thing I never understood. I know what it’s like to be on a budget but as you explained the cost to run these lights for 6900 hours per year is a less expensive than buying an oz. if it was a less efficient light like the panel leds you would need twice the wattage and still have less light than a single cob. So double the yearly operating cost to save $20 bucks upfront doesn’t make much sense.

Exactly. And my light footprint is much better now too. I will yield more for sure. Instead of one light spreading out from the middle I have a row of lights staggered down the middle. I can already tell a more uniform growth from the plants on the outside. It’s just like they’re in the middle of the room. Different heights for different plants. The first week I ran one light. The next two weeks I ran two lights. Then I was at three for a little while then I got the fourth up and running. So it wasn’t even a full 220. The whole grow. But now that I’m running back at autos I’m gonna start to stagger. I will be soaking three fast small girls to start while these finish up then I’ll start three bigger longer running girls and so on. So 220 will be on from now on. May get two 6500’s for veg after Christmas. I had a rough start but I have new lights new nutes and haven’t started a seed in like forever so I think some of it was me. Too moist in the paper towel is what I’ve come up with. But it’s dialed back in. Lol.

I Got my Cob today @BigSm0 your a Bad Ass!!
So this makes me 3 of the 3500k Autocob
My space is 2'×4' and 6' of Hight
How far apart should I Hang them in this space to get the best coverage I'm gonna Have 3 plants in 3 gal pots. Should I go 12" or 16" or what would be a good distance between them?

Spread
Them evenly so the whole tent gets even coverage. You’ll have 4 spaces so 12” apart length wise. And with only 2’ u could probably just center them but may be better off offsetting them from center a little bit. Better side to side coverage. I’m just a rookie when it comes to lights though

8”space, cob, 16” space, cob, 16” space, cob, 8” space

This would be the most even spread as each cob is realistically covering a 16” space and as even as possible.
