Lighting Cobshop.net info, questions and answers

@BigSm0 I'm a new grower and this thread saved me from a $600 LED board that was sitting in my Amazon cart. I am so glad I found this before I bought that monstrosity. I don't even like Amazon.

I can tell you take a lot of pride in your work. I operate a multi-unit business and deal with snake oil every single day. I'm pretty confident that Im spending my dollars with the right company.

Keep standing behind your product brotha man...I'll let you know how these puppies do in my new 4x4 when I get them and will definitely spread the word on the west coast if they work as hard as you do.

I can guarantee you are going with the right lights. What other business owner would help you convert your blurples to COBs and not expect anything in return. He assisted me in converting my PlatinumLED P300s to house four 3500k COBs each. I have since purchased two of the four packs of the 3500k COBs and one each of the 2700k and 6500k COBs and I couldn’t be happier.

I initially started this whole project bc someone gave me a 1000w HPS rig w/ magnetic ballast. Im not even going to plug it in. I would have had to add a breaker just to run everything lol. .5ah sounds way better than that.

Vero 7 are actually better COB than Citi 1812. More efficient at the same specs. So I guess you're typical bro. Sorry, it's the truth.
Dont think so Im on a pay as you go and run 20 cobs dehumidifier fans and exhaust for less than 3 bucks a day not sure if you can get more efficient than that  What I do know is autocobs rock my grow space grow after grow

Yea, but what are you saying is not "science method", you only comparing your setup with something else, maybe HID lightning. My Samsung strips delivers 2.7 umol/s and 185 lumens per watt, and better coverage than yours. Actually I have sky of diodes in my 4x4 tent. You only have 20 light points, I have around 1900 I think. But we cannot compare with your words, as we run different sizes, environment etc...

Find a calculator on forum or look at actual datasheets from manufacturer, insert case temperature of your COB and Vero 7 COB (so it's the same number, lets say realistic 50°C) and see which one give you more lumens per watt. Vero 7.

I am really pissed when someone says X light is better than Y light without evidence. Numbers don't lie. People do.

"Better" can't be measured.

If you're saying Veros are more efficient...I can dig. I researched those as well. These Autocobs seem more functional for my setup; therefore, better for me. Thanks for the info buddy...I'll take another look at the Veros if I need to add more light down the road.
