I know it’s been beaten to death and the answer isn’t as simple as looking at a chart... but.... I’ve got a northern cheese haze that is currently 17 inches below the AutoCob hanging over it and I’ve got no more room to raise the light.. am I cutting a hole in the roof of my tent or have any of you folks finished plants closer than that (I’m sure she’s not done growing yet, close, but not done)

Why not just put some weight on or tie/pull down the tallest tops?

This is not an option as I am in a small tent and there is no more room to spread out. The one saving grace is the tops were trained into a circle after I topped the plant at the fourth node so there are 8 tops in a circle and the light is over the center. So none of the tops are directly below the light which I would think helps me a little

I had a main cola within 8 inches of one and it never showed any signs of stress. I think in flower the plant is a lot more forgiving to light stress. If you are not seeing stress then you are probably good if stretch is finished.

Wow AND you had a reflector on. Did you find that the bud that was closest to the light was lacking anything in terms of quality? I ask because of the other thread in this section talking about terpenes being affected by light distance and having the light too close could result in less terps? You can see the leaves are still reaching to the light, and how the tops are trained in a circle with nothing directly beneath the light. I guess for now the tent keeps its roof...

:crying: It smoked just as well as the others. It was hard as a rock and very sticky.
