Lighting Cobshop.net info, questions and answers

Kind of a bummer. Might have to return these and go with something else. I dont like newly purchased items to be damaged..
Have you tried contacting @BigSm0 directly before now? If not I’m sure he will notice your post here and take care of you. Many of us own many of his lights and he has always stood behind his work.

First Problem is..the Question is being directed at @BigSm0 ...and Only he can Answer it.
Members/supporters stepping in only aggravates the complainant...how ever well meaning they are...:headbang:

So..first we Need to let complaints be handled by the person who can provide answers...and that is Only @BigSm0

I recently purchased two autocobs both of which has very noticeable scratches in the black paint. Is this standard for your quality control?

Hey there @Ron Paul and anyone else for that matter if you have a problem please send me a message here or by email. If you are not happy I’ll surly replace them or refund you, whatever works best for you. I definitely wouldn’t let a light ship like this. Was there damage to the packaging?

Send me your order # and I’ll get the ball rolling.

Thanks @HemiSync @Bigg Al

With my limited time here the @BigSm0 helped me realize there was a problem.
Also helps to receive a bit of reassurance from members who have the products and delt with me prior. I don’t believe your actions were intended to aggravate anyone.

All I did was ask if he had tried contact BigSm0 directly and try to reassure him that this vendor normally stands behind his product. Not sure how this was considered aggravating the complainant and I don’t really appreciate the accusation.

That did seem to be rather out of place... just looked like friendly chatter from here...

As an aside: USPS now recognizes "shock damage" and refuses to cover it under their insurance... it has something to do with their automation and does not result in package damage, only content damage. (I ship items worldwide so unfortunately I have experienced it first hand)

PS: a permanent black marker matches black anodizing fairly well

Shock damage does not apply to coatings like paint i do not believe and I never said the lights didn't function so....?

"permanent marker"
If you went and purchased a black Lamborghini with a huge scratch down one side and the salesman told you to use a black marker on it and that the car still ran and drove like new, would that work for you? lol

@BigSmo is taking care of this issue for me... He is a stand up guy for sure and he makes a great product. This was never in question.. Just the scratches in the black coating on these two lights so everyone can take a deep breath now...Its just two adults doing business... its no big deal i promise. I still love you all <3 !
Thanks for your concern though. :)
