First of all, if you are reading this and are a severe chronic patient.I am truly sorry that you have to navigate life with the challenges associated with Chronic Pain 24/7, as I do, and I know several others on here do as well.

So, what strains have you found work best for you, either photos or autos? I know all Dragon strains work well for autos, so if you post, can you be specific what particular Dragon strain/s work best for you, or what-other specific strains work well for you.

  • Night time strain:

Thanks for your help and input.:tiphat:

Thanks for the post Stickman.:Sharing One:
Unfortunately this is a topic I live with.
For me Cheese strains work well for pain.
I'm in the process of growing out a Cheesus Dragon in hopes it'll work well for the pain.
I'll report back my findings once she's finished up.

Another strain that works REALLY well for me is Moby Dick(auto) from Dinafem.
Great daytime pain killer.
White Widow (auto) is another "go to" strain for me.
I have found that strain hopping works the best for me.
This way I don't build up a tolerance to any one strain.
I'm going to be working some Dragons in the near future..
I'll report back their medicinal qualities as soon as I can.

Primarily I go with autos for my med needs.
I do grow photos occasionally. I have a Ghost Train Haze #1 that I just finished.
From the early sample I took, it appears this may be another good daytime pain killing strain.
I am looking at a few Rare Dankness strains (photos) for their pain killing qualities.
Any info I find out I'll report back here.

Thanks again for posting this Stickman.
I think this thread will help a lot of folk out there.

I'm in that boat too. 28 nears of non stop back and leg pain. So far I've not had a lot of choices to test but Indica dominant strains work best for me. The Spliff White Widows has been very good for this. Also, White Urkle x Lowryder x Jem was quite potent and great ned for making oil for our capsules. Also Flowerbomb kush! A little more "up" than the others but also good meds. And I need to grow another as I only had one sample before it went into the oil pot, but I think the next best to White Widow has been some special C99 x Fire x I18 that was donated by a friend. I've got some more seeds of that I'll grow in the spring.

So as of now, White widow is king for me! We'll see soon how my "dragon kush" ie, Durrty Dragon x KVS does. I'll be chopping one soon!

Ronin and Pop, I am deeply sorry that both of you live with chronic pain, and thanks SO much for your input!

Ronin: I have yet to try any Cheese strains as of yet, however a brother sent me some UK Cheese x GG#3 that he would like to see me test outdoors next year.

So do you know what genetics A6 used for his Cheesus Dragons? I look forward to hearing how this new Dragon Strain works for you. Hoping it does the trick. I find that 'strain hopping' is a must, thus I have quite a few strains jarred up, and Canna Caps made up with different strains.

Pop: yes, I have found that Indica Dom strains work the best for me as well. It is good to hear that White Widow, works well for you and Ronin, as I have a couple of photos in flower right now. I also am getting ready to chop a couple of C99 x Fire x X18. I believe this will make for some very nice meds. I will be VERY interested to see how you "Dragon Kush" works for you, as it seems I have some in my seed vault:). Do you have any pics of her?

I have found that anything purple works well for me. Right now, one of the better strains that I have found for night time use is MOB x C99a. I let them amber up over 50%. I do have a couple of MOB xes in flower right now: (Mob x GDP) and (Blueberry x GDP) I also have a( Bubba Kush x F99) and a (Cherry Slyder x Deep Chunk). All are very Indica Dominant I will report on those when they are finished.

Again thanks for your input!

Peace.

I have chronic pain from an injury in 2009 to both my shoulder and back. Royal Queen's Northern Lights Auto was decent for pain with a decent balance in terms of not being too couch lock. The best med I've found so far is Bluestone which is a Dragon Cross. It's helped me immensely in the short time I've been testing it, and the flavor/scent/appearance is just incredible. I have an Auto Cheese candy by Delicious started that's supposed to be a good pain med, it'll be in the thread in my sig but I'll be back to report if it's good. I also have a Blackstone that's about to finish up so I'll report back on that as well. Thank you very much for making this thread it could really become a priceless resource for people like us. :slap:

I'll jump in, Stick...

RE: Cheesus - Swamp started it off with Sweet Seeds Sweet Cheese crossed with Magic Dragon, then GA6 ran with it. IIRC.

UK Cheese x GG#3 sounds like a stinky stomper :)

I am looking forward to trying Cheese strains for pain.

Dealing with a herniated L5-S1, torn rotator cuff and labrum in the right shoulder and two bad knees
(torn ligaments and crushed meniscus discs) so pain relief is a big requirement for me.

I have experienced good relief with Kushs like Pre-98 Bubba, Strawberry and Hindu.
