Chloramine ???? Ro/di ????

I was reading about chloramine and chlorine so what is the truth ? What I read was that chloramine doesn’t evaporate like chlorine. I also read that it isn’t harmful like chlorine when it comes to beneficial bacteria. Is there a need to buy a filter to filter it out ?

My second question is ro/di. I again I am reading conflicting articles and posts. Some say ro/di isn’t good to use on cannabis and then I read some articles saying it was ok. Now I’m confused on what to buy to filter my water.

My tap reads TDS 157 and ph is 7
If you look your local water report up it will tell you what is in your water. I use ro water to remove chlorine out of my water but have used my tap before just fine too. Just bubble chlorine from tap for a whole day before use. Chloramine can't be bubbled out. Need ro for sure. Or there's other stabilizing products to treat it too, too stoned to think of any of the top of my head but google works if you want to know

A piece of Camden tablet, or a pinch of Sodium metabisulphate in 30 litres of water
will instantly remove Chloramines and Chlorine,
used to use it for brewing.

I don't bother.

I use Seachem Prime from my aquarium hobby to remove Chlorine and Chloramine. No negative effects that I've noticed to date.
In a gallon of water, I mix in 1ml (or one full squeeze from amber dropper bottle pipette to make life easier), then GoBox Nutrients, then direct to feeding.
