Dinafem Cheese Auto CBD (CFL Grow)

Day 55

One strange beast, It all goes down the same way regardless of it's appearance ha-ha!! Never had this happen before, the only thing that's changed is my light cycle 24/0 to keep temps up, she possibly showing a little of her Ruderalis side!!

She is showing some strange growth patterns especially with the bud development but the trichome production is in full flow and looking Devine

I'm going to keep a watch on this to see how she finishes up mate

Thank you for taking the time to update your diary and for the added pictures very much appreciated!

All the best

Cheers @Dinafem-Mark , she will probably be coming down this week due to holiday commitments and visits, unfortunately. For future reference has there been much research into harvesting CBD strains for peak ripeness? Thanks in advance :toke:

She is certainly odd, it will certainly look sparse when dry! I don't mind it's all good medicine :smoking:

She came down on Day 61 a few weeks early due to holiday commitments.
I read somewhere that CBD peaks earlier and degrades faster than THC (unsure of the source but finding info on when to harvest for peak CBD is rather vague, there obviously tested at certain points by breeders). I'm happy enough with the outcome from a mainly 125w CFL, bud formation was rather odd. The smell is rather floral with a sweet, skunky cheesy undertones (powerful and penetrating).
Dried to 60% humidity and canned for a few weeks of curing. 79g with a few sticks in the mix. I will add a smoke report once cured.

Thank you so much for ending your diary in this fashion

Some pre harvest shots, a final weigh in and dry weight. This is the correct way to end a diary and gives new growers of this strain an idea what to expect in similar environmental conditions

Really nice end harvest and some super tasty looking end product

Sorry I missed your question on best time to harvest for peak cbd content. I was on vacation :bong:

For future reference we are finding that the best time to harvest high CBD strains is just before the glandular trichome starts to turn Amber and degrade :bong:

Enjoy that end product mate and thank you for the great read

All the best
