Good Morning,
There are leaves(I think) growing out of the cotyledon. Is this ok? What should I do?
My plant is Northern Lights Auto. Grown in FoxFarm Ocean Forest with perlite added. So far just fed with 6.5 PH water and 1/4 dose of calmag and great white powder. Indoor closet grow under Parfactworks RA1000 light. I keep a heating pad and mini humidifier in the closet to control RH and temp which have ranged from 20c-22c and 40-80RH( I’m still trying to get balance with RH.

More details regarding growing conditions:

Cotyledon leaves sprouted on 12/19
Northern lights Auto from Seedsman
18/6 light schedule on timer Parfactworks RA1000
OF soil amended with 1/3 plain perlite
Watered with 6.5 ph filtered tap water(not Reverse Osmosis)
Fed 1/4 dose of Calmag every other watering.
Fed 1/4 dose of silica from Grotek one time
Given Great White powder mixed in soil pre-planting and watered in twice.
I believe she is 15 days old based on when her cotyledon leaves sprouted.

well, it duzn't happen too often (which actually makez it kinda cool ), and they won't amount to anything when all is said & done, but it'z perfectly fine, so by all meanz, let 'er grow! ppp

hmmmm I don’t know? I was just going to try LST I’m too scared to top it! Maybe I will top one of them.... at what age would topping for this northern lights auto be best? should I top the one in the little pot or the bigger pot? I have two one is in a one gallon pot and the other is in a 3 gallon pot. Because my little closet grow can only fit those two pots. I might be getting a grow tent I’m still deciding which one to get...

when/where to top is indeed a most varied point of contention, lol...some say never above 3rd node...me-? i wait til the 8th ppp

I wait till the 6th node and then top back to the 3rd or 4th .. whichever is the stronger looking.

Last Summer one of my best yields came from a Fastbuds Mexican Airlines plant I was growing outside. A tree branch fell on it and broke it off between the 7th and 8th. It was really mangled. I cut it off and within three days it really took off growing.
