Indoor Cheap and cheerful - perpetual organic-like grow

That's what I'm thinking. Driver, chip and heatsink.

You could also get the almost complete autocob set and do it yourself!

Also, it seems as though you have to worry about the wifey messing up your grow somehow more than anything else. She's the X-factor you have to watch out for lmao :worship:

This had me cracking up so hard.

I understand completely. I also wanted to learn how to create my own cob until I didn't have the time to create my own even with the almost complete set so I just went with them already built. When you're working 70 hours a week it's hard to find time for everything in life. Especially spending a few hours learning how to build something you might screw up :(

I'm weighing the meanwell high bay driver that autocob use versus just using a small remote driver for $30 less. I can then get a cheaper heatsink instead of the one they use as well. So still researching at this point.

I would definitely go with a Meanwell - at least the one I have is a Meanwell and I have a second one coming today. From my sos urce they say you can drive your Cobs up to about 60 watts without active fans. I like the Variable power Meanwell as you can adjust the light level according to growth stage.

There are quite a few divers that do that, they are just not designed to sit directly on top of a heatsink. My idea might not be as pretty though lol much like my nursery tent.

Thinking about it next, just pondering how with only 36" height.

I have been letting my tops as close to the light about 6 in with no burning or bleaching but I really try to keep them 12in away. You might want to do a scrog I have had good luck with it keeping a low canopy. And the smaller pots I used this time I could have grown two in a 24 in high 12x12 area. There is lots of options just find what works for you good luck

Thanks Tommy, I start a plant every two weeks, I love growing new strains and perfecting ones done before. A scrog won't work for me because I add a plant every two weeks. Trying to do a sort of sog grow. I will work on my lights in both my cupboards.
