Howdy all-

even though there is no smell, what is a good replacement filter for a 6” Hydro Farm? They are pretty expensive so I wonder if there is a better or cheaper way. It’s 3 years old.

I go with rhino pro filters if you want a good one or the upper tier and what im using now is a mountain air thats meant to last 3 yrs and the rhino is said to last about 2 yrs

ita all about your budget i had a red scorpion when i first started that was ok for a good 18 mths and is maybe half the price

I get a couple of years out of an I-Power off Amazon. Keeping your pre-filter clean helps with longevity.
How often should u clean it. I just had one go out & clogged up the inline fan. I couldn’t figure out why my tent temp & rh shot up.

I wash after every grow. Something else is wrong RH too high and stopped filter up? the the pre-filter is not going to stop the air flow the charcoal swelling up could?

The filter didnt stop the fan from running. Air stopped flowing thru the filter to the fan.

it happened to my ACInfinity t6 fan in both my tents. Cleaning the ore filter fixed the one. The other charcoal filter had to be replaced.
