Thank you for your feedback. First of all if i understood correctly you check the water's ph as well as the soil's ph?? Should i check the water's ph every time i add nutes to it?? Up to now i was just using regular tap water and was throwing nutes in it according to a schedule i found on this forum, and adjusting it accordingly. Moreover light scortch means that my lights burned the leaf?? If it does how can i prevent it. My light is pretty far from the plant itself, it is not possible for it to have touched it.
Finally WisdomKarp this was my original idea and began building it with an old pc case i had lying around but the light leakage was very much so it would seem suspicious as well as having a pc case next to my new pc with tape all around it. :P If it could be done it would be the best solution but unfortunately it couldn't. :(

you only really need the runoff ph
if your nute/media buffer is working you should not have to mess with it

however if the runoff is wrong adjustment to tap water will have to be made

heat causes the marks cfls are bad for this even worse than my hid as i can put plants further away and they get plenty of light

Been some time, royal dwarf has gone into flowering and i am very happy! It generally seems healthy and good except some leafs on the lower side that look a little weak!! Maybe because the light is weaker there as well! Anyway here are some pics... not great quality the room was dark and the lights on so it made a huge contrast and could not take a proper picture but here it is anyway :)

Well she did better than i expected in such a small space, but now i am thinking of something completely different in there for the next grow

I am kind of happy that i decided not to kill her despite the very small room she had available. She has grown well and dropped some leafs focusing n her buds right now. Some really small popcorn buds are forming but for my first grow i do not want to risk cutting them. :P She is doing very well and has began to look a little frosty on the leafs close to the buds, something that with her space and the low wattage of the lights i did not expect. Just read all through this , and despite the very cramped space and the output of the lights , it really can have very suprising results , i am sure you have learned alot from this experiment and you have thought up some ideas for future projects , all i can say is that i wish you all the best with your experiments and hope you get a nice little reward from this .

Thank you very much millk. Yes thsi was a very informing experience but i think the small space made up for the low wattage of the light, because it made it reflect so much, and helped her absorb as much as she could. Just a theory
