Interesting. I am currently running my first ever indoor with a 250w dual spectrum.
The 6500 k element is closest to the reflector and the 2750 k fires downwards. They get relatively hot, However I keep them low (maybe under a foot away from the leaves) and had no issues so Far.
This CFL is insufficient for a small tent (0.9x0.5x1.6) to cover 4 pots. It isn't bad but I reckon better lamps (and multiple) would be optimal vs one big one.
