That is Genius Nibs...is it built into an old fridge or somthing?

:slap: Well deserved rep+ slap dude

Thanks Chopper, lol it's not genius tho ! I got some chipboard cut to size and just screwed it together.

It's a bit of a bodge job but i've jsut harvested my 5th crop from it and am about to start the 6th so it's great for personal use to pull 4oz every 70 days or so.

Cheers,

little lighting issue...

So a few weeks ago i noticed that my blue veg CFL was a bit dodgy...like only half of it lit up
at first i thought i was seeing things or the light was playing tricks with me cause its so bright

However it recovered after i left it for a couple of hours and it still works 100%

So last week i went and bought a red bloom CFL @ 250w and the guy in the store checked it
there and then...whilst he was twisting it in i started to tell about my blue veg CFL and he was
as baffeled as i was...then he flicked the switch the red one i was about to buy and it was fine.

so i brought it home very carefully and excitedly plug it in and at first it was working alright but
i just noticed that only half of it is lit up and its definitly not my eyes as i can really notice it this
time as the Red isn't nearly as intense as the Blue ...WTF??

What could cause this ? is this normal ?? has anyone else experianced this dodgy lighting ???

Any help would be great guys thanks...
:peace:Chopper

The fact that the red light was working at the shop implies you may have a power problem.

Are both lights using the same power strip ?

Try plugging something else that takes a similar wattage into the same power strip and seeing if that underperforms or doesn't switch on at all.

All the best,

nibs.
