DIY DIY Stealth Grow Project 2' x 2'

With all them bulbs running in there it was getting kinda hot until I had all fans running. I switched to the LED to see what the difference was. I am acutally messing with a 150W HPS and LED combo in there at the moment checking the results. I am one of those poeple who is always changing stuff up.

The light is still in service elsewhere though :)

Ah nice. I really loved how that looked. I'm trying to figure out a good lighting situation for my grows. I'll have to have probably 6-8 different heights to be managing in a perpetual grow. Something less expensive like that I really dig, too.

Nice cab. Great work!
It will help many people out.

Thats a fine looking stealth box you have built yourself sir. I'm very interested to hear how the LED's work for you

I too am intrested in hearing more abought your leds the positives and the negatives.I would think if your heat would be less of an issue, and it would open up the option to take advantage of Co2 inrichment.:D

Well with CO2 you really want your temps in the upper 90's to take the most advantage. I do this by using timers to shut off the exhaust before the CO2 comes on and it comes on later.

Odor control was an issue and will be for everyone at some point unless steps are taken to keep it down. I tired a ozone generator and a smaller all in one filter and a few other things and they all sucked. Plus the Ozone generator made the air taste funny to me when it was running on hi.

I ended up pulling all the exhaust fans and replacing it with a Inline fan Carbon filter combo. I bought a cheapie and ran it for a few months and it worked but it was too loud for me even with a speed control switch. I recently purchased a Soler and Palau TD-100X fan that is really quiet in comparison. You can still hear it on full throttle but not near as much and barely with speed controller on half. It is also smaller in size so I can raise the lights a little higher if I need to

It is not near as powerful as a regular model but since I have a small area it does nicely to control the heat and smell. While being longer it still fit but I highly recommend these units.

Looking good, Scott. I would strongly urge anyone who is serious about growing to bite the bullet and get a real filter like yours. I also messed around with some homegrown solutions but once I added the filter the smell was 100% gone. They don't really cost that much compared to the added safety you get. The bathroom fan and filter I use in my small tent only cost me around $100 bucks.

From what ive heard from many grow shops max temp u want with co2 is 86. The higher the temp the less co2 u need it seems. When i had my temp at 70 my ppm was at 900-1100 and when it was at 80 it was 1500+ppm with same amount going in. Nice set up. Try 2 liter yeast and sugar method. You can even place the 2 liter on top of the cabinet with little drilled hole and tube going in for the co2. Setup looks great though. Very stealth and low key
