Well I hate to say it :firedevil: But the LR#2 and Easy Ryder have rotted in the soil. Only guess I can think is I over watered the pot initially. Well I started (2) Sleestack x Skunk regular beans. Ive only been misting the topsoil this time not to cause overwatering. Im not posting any more pics UNTIL beans actually break soil this time. Anybody know anything about the Sleestack x Skunk? They were 2 free beans I got from Herbies in my first order. Well guys I hope I have better luck with these beans than the last 3.

Sleestack x skunk is from DNA genetics, they are distributed as freebie seeds when you order from seed banks. I have some from seedsman havnt grown them though.

Thanks Mindzeye for that info. I still also have 1 more LowRyder EasyRyder bean and 1 Delicious Northern Lights Blue bean Im saving for next time. This time I am ONLY misting the top soil a few squirts once a day until I see popping above soil. If I didnt have bad luck with this lately, id have no luck at all. LOL. But I'm not giving up guys. Im not a quitter. What is the maximum amount of time that it should take a bean to pop above soil? I was figuring 7 days tops? :dunno: Im taking ALL the advice ive been giving on AFN. I cant afford to keep letting beans wither away like thay have been.

I have a question AFN family. Would it hurt anything to leave the door of my stealth cab open a lil bit to help raise the RH since I have a humidifier running next to it outside the cab?

Heres how things are looking so far. Took this pic about 5 mins ago.

RH has gone up to 43% in last 5 mins or so just by leaving the cab door open. I know seedlings need 60% RH. I dont know what else to do to raise the RH%. I have a damp towel in a bowl, and a humidifier running next to cab.

Thanks dude. I contacted Herbie's Seeds by email, and they said when I get my next order they will give me an additional 6 beans of what ever they are giving out at the time of my order as free beans. I hope at least 1 of my last 4 come through for me. Im Irish and its St. Patricks Day so maybe atleast 1 pot will turn into a Pot O' Gold. LOL

Spraying the top soil each day is okay. Usually i place my seeds into a glass of water for 24 hours and then plant them straight into my pre soaked soil. I will spray like 1-3 times per day on the top soil and usually they show their head in 2-3 days time. You just have to be patient and don't worry too much.
