when my lights are off should my fans be off or on?????also its day seven after a good water today they started, to droop a little....this is normal right?????

If they are drooping it's probably time to feed. They will do that if they get a little too dry. I leave my fans on 24/7. The plants still need fresh air and circulation, even when the lights are off.

they didnt droop untill after i gave them water....ok i will leave fans on, thanks muddy!!!!! also its kind of cold outside, i have small space heater in the room but not the tent itself,,,my temp is like 75 its pretty cold outside..this is ok????should i put small heater in tent and not room as i think this may be a bit much,when its like sixty in room gets like 78 in tent wid no heater,,the only way to get like 80 or 81 is wid small heater.if room is like sixty with my mh light shouldnt i reach eighty pretty easy...should i not sweat it as long as i can get 80!!!! i just cant help but think my light aint working right, but its bright as hell!!!im probally jus paranoid, first grow and all and i dont wanna fuck up...but plants look pretty healthy i guess!oh well hope everyone is having a good night,:dance::dance:

I would put your heater inside the tent. Why heat up the whole room when you only need to heat the tent? I have two grow areas and a space heater in both of them. One draws air from outside and right now it's 14 degrees out. Temp inside is at 78 with the lights out. You'll also save a little money as the heater won't have to run as much.

hello carolina --i live in that state also----i grow in a tent in a outbuilding--no heater--only heat is from light--have done ok for it being so cold out--not an expert but will try to help--i have pics---since i dont use a heater i run my light 24/0 and open tent in mornings to get plenty of fresh air and close at dusk--they are in a tin building--sun warms tin and warms quickly inside

Sorry, I should have been a little clearer about that. That box has a 4" exhaust fan and a passive intake, which is just a hole with a flapper over it. The exhaust fan sucks the air out of the box, creating a negative pressure in the box. This causes the flapper to open and pull air in from outdoors. The heater is there just to keep the temps up. It doesn't draw the air in.
