yes thats about right depending on conditions some good name ones can last 3years

my newest filter isn't up to the job, it's a 150mm opening and 500mm long. rated at 750 cubic meters per hour with my fan is rated at 600 cmph and i can smell a faint smell of weed in the room i vent to, i am going to have to replace it or get another small one to put on the end, not happy with this but i can hardly go back to the shop and complain i can smell my weed :(

not sure if it's just because these ak'2 are stinkie than the last lot but i don't really think that can be coz the last lot was the stinkiest ever, so stinky my eyes were watering during harvest.

I too run a 4" filter and 4" fan combo on a variable speed control...(bought as a matched set )...been using it 1.5 yrs with no prob in a small tent. Ya know just how good they work when ya pull ya ladies out to dress'em a bit and the house gets really stinky in a short time.
At the cost of 'bought' filters, I would have to agree that I wouldn't take a chance...When I'm out for a day, the first thing I do when I walk in the house is 'sniff'....
