Day 31. Not much to say other then the FC's really confusing or worrying me a bit. The OD's are looking strong, and the [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] has this funky smell like I just exercised and then rubbed an orange on my sweaty underarm:woohoo:(no, I've never done that:rolleyes1:)

One has the canoeing leaves and the other has a paler green particularly near the top and also some signs of mag deficiency. Started uping the nutes and using some epsom salts. They seem to require constant attention. High maintenance women, ya know:wall:

oh I know high maintenance mate :crying:

keep doing what you’re doing, be vigilant with PH etc I’ve found it starts shifting around the same time they start flowering heavily. those FC’s look just great man really

Day 37 (pics are from day 36). Elevated Orange Diesel's to even out canopy. There is a big learning curve when using Nectar For The Gods. Being that it is calcium based normal deficiencies are handled differently. Flushing is done throughout the grow to reset the soil when issues occur. PH is critical both in the soil and the nute solution mixes. Currently I am having issues with mag and cal not being taken up. Soil slurries are the norm when trying to find out what is happening in the root zone. They are done on a 1:1 ratio of soil to distilled water then checked for ppm and ph levels after let to level out for 30 minutes. PPM's should be in the 300 range and ph should be 6.3 to 6.4 (6.3 to 6.8 is the range), these are the levels that Nectar works best, anything outside of those ranges problems, like mine, will occur. Today I will do slurries on all four and will more then likely (depending on levels) will do a reset of Herculean Harvest and Gaia Mania buffered with Olympus Up and ph'd at 6.5. We all know that any issues with autos need to be taken care of quickly because of the limited timeline. This first grow is a big learning experience for me and my goal is to be able to show some quality bud at the end regardless of quantity. Don't know why I would have dreamed it would go smoothly:crying:

beautiful girls Cap'n! :vibe:

100% these will produce very high quality flowers, they're all set up perfectly to deliver the goods - a blemish or bit of discolouration here and there won't stop that so keep doing what you're doing right now and these will sail through...
i reckon Sunday/Monday they'll start developing the pom poms and you'll see the stacking begin...and the real odours

:pop:

good luck mate.

just to reiterate i think you are killing it your first grow :pass:

First AFN post, new to indoor grows and auto's however over 40 years of outdoor cannabis cultivation experience. I too think your killing it with the 1st grow after a 16 years hiatus.

I'm at day 26 with my first ever indoor auto grow and my girls while healthy have not experienced the growth you have and I still don't think the next 11 days will get me anywhere close to where you are. In a 3'x3' tent I'm growing one each of NYC Diesel, Train Wreck, Candy Cane, Lambs Breath, Early Miss and White Widow under a California Light Works Solar System 550, 24" over the canopy in 3 gallon pots with Fox Farms Ocean Forest.

I have great intake and exhaust circulation with two 6" AC Infinity duct fans where I can regulate the tent pressure with the variable speed controllers. My average daily temperature is 75.2 and the average daily RH is 35.4% which is a little cool which is probably a contributing factor as to why my crop is behind yours at this point.

I've only given them well water which consistently pH's at 6.0 and yesterday gave them their first nutes, 15ml. of Fox Farms Big Bloom in 1 gallon of water. I'm trying to simplify my grow routine as much as possible and use common sense coupled with strong daily journaling to have a repeatable process that I can make small re calibrations to with future grows.

Keep up the good work and I look forward to your future posts!

BTW - Looks like you added a PVC tubing structure to your tent, is that a trellis system in the making?

Thanks brother! :pighug:

As suspected I had a PH problem. Two of the plants were at 6.7 and the other two were 6.8 and the one showing the most problem was 6.9. They are starting to bring the color back to where it should be at this stage after a corrective flush with Gaia and Herc ph'd at 6.1. Running my feedings now at 6.2 - 6.3 range. Scott Ostrander is great, he emailed with me back and forth on this issue. Imagine that, the owner of Nectar (Oregons Only) taking his time to work on a problem with a lowly consumer:bighug:Anyway I wouldn't be to worried about yellowing fans, but I want to keep the solar panel fans healthy since photosynthesis is still real important at this stage.

Thank You @Bestbud! Welcome to AFN:welcome: You'll find a lot of great people here and some fantastic information, all ya gotta do is ask. Yeah, I'm surprising myself that I still have somewhat of a green thumb:joy: I have been planning to grow again for about a year, so if you would have told me back then I was gonna grow autos I woulda told you you were crazy:haha:. Now, I'd be crazy not growing autos.

Yea, that's my scrog frame. The scrog grid is removed. I'm just using it to pull branches out to get more of the light and increase airflow inside the plant structure.
