Problem: discolouration on the leafs, growth seems a bit slower compared to the other plants I have when they were same age.

Medium/grow method: Ecothrive charged coco mixed with perlite, https://www.growell.co.uk/growing-media/ecothrive-charged-coco.html
3 gallon round plastic pots, hand watered.

Feed: and supplements used: Full canna coco nutrients, including cal-mag.
Fed every day with 750ml to 1L of souloution, 650 ppm ph'd to 5.8

water source: Tap water, soft water 77ppm, ph 7.2, water left for 24 hours to
de-chlorinate before adding nutes.

Strain/age: Barneys farm Tangerine dream auto fem, 15 days old

light used: meizhi 600w reflector (actual watt draw 277w) 5w epistar diodes, and
Mars hydro pro 2 hydro epistar 80, (actual watt draw 180w) 5w diodes.
18 inches above plant, 18/6 cycle.

Climate: 4" Rvk extraction fan 184m3/hour. Temps high:30c low:22c Rh 50%,
20w oscillating tent fan

Additional info: Grown in secret jardin dr90 3x3x6 tent.

My First ever grow, I have two other plants, a fast buds green crack auto and a seedsman sour diesel auto growing in the same environment.
Both are just under 4 weeks old, they seem to doing great so far. Those 2 are directly underneath the meizhi 600w while the Tangerine dream is under the mars hydro 80.
Ever since the T.d has broken through the soil its had this discolouration on its leaves, strange papery texture in places. it's been bugging the crap outta me! I always water to run off every time, the runoff ph is 6.5, a little high but so are the other 2 and they seem to be doing fine
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Mr greenhorn.

Have a read here and compare if it could be this your girl going through....

http://www.autoflower.org/threads/tangs-dp-auto-ultimate-grow-under-rebels.25672/page-5

If so, she is more sensitive to heat (like 30°c in your case) , wind and low RH%.
Normally they grow out of it by day 20.
Hopen this helps. :passit:

Rambogarden your a legend, you hit the nail on the head!

I've been trying to figure it out for the last 2 weeks and after looking at that thread I'm convinced it's variegation.
Just my luck to get a mutant on my first grow!

I'll try and keep the temps down a bit and humidity up, fingers crossed she'll improve over the coming weeks.

Really appreciate your help mate :greenthumb:

:toke:-- mate, we see this odd color break pretty often,.. sometimes it goes away, or not,... sometimes the plant grows OK, or not,... best you can do is wait and see, compare with others her age,.. if she stunts out, it become s a personal call on whether to yank her and start over, or just ride it out,...

:toke: Hey waira, I'm hoping she does alright,.. I've heard good things about tangerine dream and I really want to see for myself so I'm going to persist as long as I can.

she's still growing, but I can see the variegation on the new growth, the under side of the leaves are healthy and appear normal it's just the top of them that show this phenomenon.
Fingers crossed she produces some tasty buds for me anyway lol :jointman:
