New Grower Candy Kush x4 first grow

Was plain just tap water left out 24h then ph adjusted .Yesterday was their first feed with biogrow. About 0.3mg to 1 litre of water. Runoff was 6.6-6.8

Are you sure your water doesn't contain chloramine (different to Chlorine), that will not dissipate by leaving out it needs removing. I had quite a few issues using biobizz soil and nutes too, but seems your pH is ok. Thing is, there is a formula to follow to work run off out that makes it more accurate do you know it? GoAuto sent me this:

Rough Calculation Guide:

Here's some good info on ph.....

If your runoff pH is higher than your starting pH, use this equation to determine your soil pH:*
Soil pH = Runoff pH + Difference

If your runoff pH is lower than your starting pH, us this equation:
Soil pH = Runoff pH - Difference.

For example, say your the starting pH of your solution before it goes in is 6.5 and the pH of your runoff is 7.0. The difference is +0.5, so using the above equation:
Soil pH = 7.0 + 0.5*
Soil pH = 7.5

If your starting pH is 6.5 and your runoff is 6.0, your difference is -0.5 and using the above equation:
Soil pH = 6.0 - 0.5
Soil pH = 5.5

Sorry if you already knew that.

I forgot if it's allmix or light mix you are using, but they are both loaded and in light mix I think you can get away with 14 days with no nutes and allmix around 21 days. But that is all strain dependant.
You have slight tip burn on some of the leaves from what I can see, that is usually overfeeding, crinkling on the edges leaves - can indicate Ph problem.
Sorry to throw that out there, but I learnt the hard way (still am) that too much of anything is just as bad as too little. Something to think about anyway bro.

Very helpful advice there Dazed.

Sang, I am growing CK also, it seems very temperamental to over / under watering. I am a bugger for over watering and they all have burnt tips, but having said that - it has done no lasting harm. So don't fret too much.

enjoy your grow, eP.

Hey dazed dont have a clue if my water has chloramine or not!
My water going in is 6.6 and runoff is usually 6.6-6.8 so not a big swing. Its lightmix and got their first feed yesterday on day 14. Maybe in a few days theyll pick up a bit. I hope anyway, cheers for looking in mate

The dose is perfect mate for a 15 day old, is it 1L per plant you giving?

That seems like a lot, especially if you are feeding everyday!

I watered until 10% runoff so it took more like 1.5 litres to get that. But thats the first watering in 4 days or so. Before that i was only giving them about 200ml because i thought watering until runoff would have been too much water for them

Im on my 2nd Candy Kush grow, and she isnt to greedy on the nutes. She seems like like moderate amounts of nutes from my limited experience. I had a little tip burn on mine atm. She is about to be on day 53.

I noticed she does start to get hungry for extra magnesium when she starts getting her pre flowers.

I think you will be fine.
Im not to experiences with trouble shooting PH problems, since Ive only done organic so far.

I had my current CK in a mix that was light. At around 13-16 days I gave her, her first dose of veg nutes. I went at about half strength, and only feed every other watering. I still got a little tip burn.

I wouldnt worry about it my friend. With all the knowledgeable people here, and that 24/7 live help thread. You will get some nice smoke in the end.

My last CK smelt like Sweet sugary Kush funk, and this time I got a short squat pheno that smells like Candied Dankberries. Your going to really like this strain. Even if you harvest a little early. Still hits heavy. Let it amber up nicely, and your a peaceful channel surfing couch potato.
