New Grower Candy cane and train wreck auto grow

Those buds look beautiful. Nice chunky trichomes. I’m no expert, she may well be eating those leaves as she heads in for the final few laps in the race of her life. Progressing nicely.
Thanks for the compliment. I was kind of thinking that was the case. The trichomes are still clear but the bud volume is increasing daily. I also moved the light up a bit which was recommended by a friend of mine.(brand new light) Your grow looks like it went very well.

Thanks. She is still drying, hoping to be able to pull a weight and get her in some jars in the next couple days. Fighting to keep the humidity up around 55% — it’s 27 below outside and the furnace just runs and runs.

Tell me about it. The temperature here is all over the map. Over the last few days it has gone from 10c to -17c and by tomorrow it will be 5c. Luckily our home is very well insulated as the summer highs can be 40c and the winter lows can be -40c. The furnace doesn’t run much as the heat from the grow room is vented to the hall way where the thermostat is and keeps it at about 21c.

Oh lucky you! My carbon filter gave up the ghost about a month ago — the absolute worst time. Is there a way to prolong their life? I’d take it down and shake it up if I thought it would help. Anyway, I’ve got sprays and gels and ozone but worst of all a poor sense of smell — apparently just because I can’t smell it doesn’t mean it doesn’t smell. My sister visited the other day and said she could smell it the second she crossed the threshold. It’s legal here but I don’t need everyone and their brother knowing I’m in flower good grief!

I got a bigger better filter for the new tent, I thought it would be up by now but it’s going to be another week. I’m expecting more seeds any day now and hoping to germ those too., as quickly as possible, so I’ve got my hands full.

Yeah. The filter I bought really helped with the smell. It’s made in North America by a company that has been in business for 30 years. It’s only a four inch and I am only running the fan at about 1/4 speed (around 50 cfm) and it’s keeping up with the smell and temperature. It wasn’t cheep but it’s a very well made.

Yes you did well there. That is indeed a fine filter.

Day 63
Checked the trichomes last night and to my inexperienced eye they look like they are clouding up. I’d appreciate any feedback.

Looking good!

Looks like the fade is on for the sativa dominant trainwreck.

My wife caught me smelling the flowers last evening. I will be feeding with worm casting tea and some unsulphered molasses for the next week. Then 4 days of just water followed by no water until harvest.
