Hey newgro. You can make this as simple or as complicated as you want. I did my first grow with just two ingredients: nursery soil mix and organic tomato fertilizer. I mixed the fert in per the manufacturers recommendation for tomatoes to start and scratched some in as an amendment after 6 weeks. Other than that, just water.Yeah I get the organics but is it really that simple 2 ingredients, soil and casings for the whole thing lol maby I'm overthinking it all. Do you add anything else? What's yeild like doing it this way
My next run will be dun this way just to see I love the idea of it being soo simple
Didn't get spectacular results, but did get a small harvest from both plants (21 and 25 grams).
From what I understand about worm castings, they are only as good as what you feed the worms. Local worm dude here feeds a mix of composted horse manure and vegie scraps. He likes the horse poo because it has lots of straw mixed in. Thinks it is a good source of carbon and micro-nutrients.
Post your grow. It will be interesting to see how you make out.
