Indoor Can plants stand occasional very cold air?

Since it sounds like you are potentially venting to the outside ? reducing any fan/filter air extraction will raise temps.

Or you could always try increasing the airflow from the heated source (room) - fan force into the grow room, though I doubt it would make a huge difference on a 24/0 (it might be left passive during the day and fan assisted at night). If the grow space is large enough old skool storage heating is an option (nah the cheap simple kind) - in greenhouses we use large water containers under the grow benches to help even out cold snaps. The drums of water contain a lot of thermal mass and release/absorb heat slowly. If it's a really cold night you can even re-fill them with warm water. The most important thing is soil temp - a quick blast of sub arctic air isn't going to scare a plant as long as the roots are warm. :D

I am doing good with temps inside the room---it is well insulated. I have occasionally set the plants into 40F temps for a few minutes as i worked in the room, and no ill effects. Looking very healthy right now. About 5-6 weeks to go.

Was thinking, autoflowers are part Ruderalis, which is very cold tolerant, so I am guessing autos are much more cold tolerant than photos.

Could the genetics of whatever the ruderalis not have an effect too? Thinking about how you can buy auto seeds for specific climates, and I know they say the Autobomb is happy with anything from 10°C, 50°F, whereas don't some others need things a little warmer?

I did a winter grow at 50f-60f w nirvanas og kush auto. All the photo plants got sickly and purple but the autos didn't give a fuck!!! They ended up w trunks over 1.5 inches and 2ft tall.autos are very cold tolerant in my experience.i draw ice cold air directly into my tent all winter w thermostat controller set up to keep it @75f. Ur absolutely fine bro

Very good to know. My night temps are in the 50's due to a cold snap (under 0-20F here for the next week). I guess the Ruderalis gene does make them cold hardy. Mine are looking very healthy.

I bought a tiny space heater that took my temps from 50-60s to 77-84. Try that out if temp is an issue for ya

I'm in a similar boat as you guys. We got hit with that cold snap too. When I checked yesterday, the temp was at 64F towards the top of my canopy. I'm hoping it doesn't drop lower than that because I know it's even cooler a foot or two down from the top in the shade. I tried lowering the speed on my exhaust fan connected to 400w HPS, to keep it a little warmer. So far, things have been looking good, but I'm keeping a close eye on them.

I'm hesitant to use a space heater for cost and safety reasons. Fingers crossed that this cold front passes.

U can buy a themostatically controlled 110v relay and hook it to the exhaust fan. U then set the parameters to desired temp threshold to kick on the exhaust fan only when temps exceed the set parameters.this will utilize all the heat from the lights in the grow but u have to make sure the c02 isnt depleted by lack of airflow and the funk doesnt escape w less filter flow

I think I got these pics of a user on here? Can put them in the tent for fire protection
