can plants be stunted in the germination/taproot stage if using water with the wrong ph? i purchased a digital ph meter and calibrating liquid and found the tap water to be quite a bit higher ph (7.7) than the reading i got using ph strips (7). my eyes must not be picking up colors like they used too. thanks.
