Hi, i have placed an order today on a 400w digital ballast with a new 400w Hps lampbulb. And i have now a 250 watt Hps-lightbulb that is connected from a 250w magnetic ballast.

So now i am going to put in a new lighting-system in my tent, so i have a reflector, a Hps lightbulb, and a magnetic ballast that i don´t use.

I was thinking that maybe i can put a 250w MH in that reflector, and put that one in my closet, and veg with that?

I can´t find a MH-ballast anywhere so i think it is possible to do it.

Have a good day, everyone. /H.

It will depend on the ballast. Some are dual spectrum and can run both, others are either MH or HPS. If it is HPS only you can buy a MH conversion bulb that will allow you to run MH in a HPS ballast.

Ok, but it doesen´t say anywhere that the ballast takes hps only". I´m sending my growshop a mail and asking them about the ballast. And i will look in to the conversion-bulb. Thank you, Muddy.
