I think @RocBudInc just got too big too quick and couldn't follow thru on something he said or promised people. He's a nice guy who I have met in person but I feel like he forgot where he came from and those that were growing him when he wasn't so popular.

He does need to add a strain directory page with all his strains listed.

I've sent messages to moderator about this. Yet he? didn't want no part of it. Even though this is our vendor.ya almost 18 months no response with numerous message. Pardon my language afn but rocbud can eat a dick and also why I told the moderator why I'll never donate here again as long as he's a vendor and this is just my experience. I'm glad others have had good ones. Truly. I'm glad your not going through this. Me and this guy exchanged many emails fall 2019. He blew up and just forgot about me. I only smoked indicas and he wasn't a vendor yet here. Hell only a handful knew who he was here. Looking back I think he was just looking out for himself and that sale and not me as the consumer.how often is he here now answering questions?how many unanswered? And people can say he's busy. I feel you trust me We are in the same boat!!!
I try not to get locked into 1 breeder these days there are quite a few plus everyone here on AFN and then add that to the fact I have enough seed to last me a long long time.
My problem is I like to grow new strains.

Me too it's hard not to try a new "flavor" lol. There's so many stunning autoflowers it's hard to repeat too often lol

I'm fortunate that I haven't had a bad experience personally with roc, but it's pretty clear many have. The guy just isn't a business person imo, he's winging it on several fronts and it shows.

I can only imagine blowing up that fast not being prepared as a one man army. It's still not an excuse after a long period of time and I'm trying to get emails back and he would respond to tx rebel mark texts everyday. Even the night I showed tx rebel the text message. He responded that day to him but not me lol. It never was about the free seeds. I can give a rats ass. You ducking me for 18 months is different. And that's just my opinion. Please buy seeds and use your hard earned money on whatever it is you wish to make you happy.

The problem with chemdog is the fact that there's 5 different chems from the original 12 bag seed. The short version goes like this. 4 seeds were popped in 91 resulting in the 91 and chem sis. The 91 is considered by most breeders to be the best or most potent. Then a few years later joebrand, the guy who sold the chemdog to chemdog, met back up with each other and that resulted with chem d and chem #4. Chem number 4 went around for years being confused with the 91 or passed off as the 91. From what I hear chem d and 91 are the best phenos of the bunch. There was a couple males of the 8 seeds and a couple junk phenos.

This leads me to the point of which chem was worked into an auto and was it a verified cut? The dawg part comes from jjnyc and his work making stardawg and playing with chem lines.

I really wanted to try the chemdawg from fastbuds and the stardawg. Fastbuds does have a good reputation as far as I'm concerned but I guess it depends. I think the chemdawg auto you have will be fire. I have some chem d autos that are freebies from ethos but I'm assuming will be made into a line. I'd like to get my hands on mephisto chemdogging but seems unlikely until its re released.

Also I do agree that lines should be worked and not just f1 crosses being put to market. We had this discussion briefly in a thread the other day on here. F1s are just not putting in any work imo. Thats pollen chucking not breeding. You have to actively make selections down the filial generations.

I was under the impression most big time proper breeders will put their work out as f1’s as a sort or protective policy, but they still find the f1 to their taste and only throw out an f1 once the ibl’s has been fully developed..
Can’t spend all this time working your line for the (second time today using this word) aforementioned genetics thieves to just steal your stuff...
Plus big time guys won’t admit this but when the seed throws out a couple different looks it can increase sales from the pheno hunters

Some nut job savant will eventually get it down pat and be able to put out something intended with the right combo of shit recessives so you can’t duplicate it without having to work out stuff
And the fastbuds stuff I grew was pretty proper just had a taste I didn’t like but have smoked others that were choice.
Based off the speed they pump their stuff out I can only assume their in “the union”

Yeah everything you said is the same way I think its done too. You can find some s1 pure strains but thats kinda the same boat of sifting phenos. I prefer breeding like what dj short did back in the day or what mephisto does and locks in a couple phenos tops trying to get the closest representation of the original. Fact is seeds always going to vary a bit but thats part of the fun to me looking for good phenos. I get thats not everyone's cup of tea and no one wants to sort through garbage so you weed out those shit traits. Otherwise why am I paying you. Just my thoughts on it. Were definitely on the same page.

I agree about fastbuds too. How do they make autos of new strains so quick. It makes them suspect in my eyes. Mephisto works there strains for YEARS to get them fully auto and consistent but these bigger breeders pop out flavor of the month stuff within months? Doesn't seem like it would be a true representation of the photo. Could be a close approximation but not work j would want to put out.
I'm learning to breed but want to do so with integrity and make something I'm proud of. It's like anything else in this world you can half ass it or take pride in your work. I've always tried to choose the latter.

I really did enjoy the purple Rolex. Will say that. Did not do V2 though. Why not grow em? Those 3 seem pretty good choices and money spent. Just too many other choices?
