Indoor Calling All Experts!!! Need advice for Snow Ryder.

you shouldnt need to transplant just give them time! and get some fish mix that will sort all of your problems out!

yeah when was the flush? may take up to a week to see the "settled out" results... you flushed with ph corrected water?

wouldn't transplant them (additional shock / damage) FYI FFOF is a "hot" soil... which would likely burn them again at this age.... give em 3 or 4 days and see if you see new clean growth coming on... remember burns often dont go away ... often new growth only shows the "clean correction" so to speak... follow?

:)

So, Gunnerboy... You use that stuff through the whole entire grow or just during flowering?

JM... The flush was tonight between 8pm - 9pm. Thai Buddha Man suggested to flush with Distilled Water so that's what I did. I was told to either use Rain Water or Distilled. I couldn't get enough Rain Water last night/today to flush the 6 of them properly. So I went and got 3 gallons of DW and used that. He said that it would flush them more quickly. Yeah I totally see what you are saying about transplanting them, shocking them and such. The new growth looks nice and green so I'll keep an eye on the new nodes. So this brings me to yet another question... eventually I'm probably going to have to transplant them because they are in 6" pots and I'm guessing I'm going to have to transplant. I might be wrong but, my question is, whenever you have to transplant -- autos or not -- is that like planting them from the beginning? Would they AGAIN be good for like 2 weeks without ferts? You see what I'm sayin' now? lol It's getting late! :smoke:

ok... DW is great flusher!! cheers TBM! :) you'll see results show in a couple days likely... maybe ven tommorrow... you could when they bump size up a hair transplant to FFOF... thats ok... just wanna be about 30 days into the grow for that (forgive me if you are... been workin a lot of threads lately.. ) depending on the soil you go to you'd be fine.... for "veg" or "grow" but you'd prob astill need to run the flower / bloom ferts...
see FD's guide to growing hefty autos... you can just search that in the search bar... he's got a great thread in the tips/tricks knowledge base too... I've got some stuff in there too... actually heres Fd's basic guide for ferts:

what i mean is that not all autos are the same lol
I have been growing the same genetic line for over a year now
and they all seem like they really like my fert schedule.
This is what i doi break it down as follows
First off let me talk about what i use as ferts. I have a 4 part system that i use and most of this is in the brain so please bare with me as i share this one.
I use FF grow big (hydro formula) Tiger Bloom and then two tea variations. One is high in N for veg and the other is high in Phosphorus when its time to flower.
I apply these through out the grow. I use the FF to get it started.
then i move to the teas and then back to the FF and then back to the teas
So i break it down like this:
FF GB is 3Tbsp/1Gal for heavy feedings. So in my mind this is more than enough for our fave friends. So it states that 2tbsp/1gal is for normal feedings so i use this as my base number. After that i break it down into 1/4
at 7 days i start like this
Day 7 1/4 dose to a gal
Day 14 1/2 dose to a gal + 8oz of N rated tea
Day 21 1tbsp GB and then 1/4 of TB (bringing in the TB)
Day 28 1/2 TB + 8oz of Phosphorus rated tea
Day 35 1.5 tbsp TB to a gal
Day 41 2tbsp of TB and 8oz of Phosphorus rated tea
Then Flush till finish unless it needs something at the end.
I think that this is everything that i do like i said i am not sure as this is all in my head. If the plants demand more that i give more this is just something to go by. I usually do not swap in clean water feedings at all over the fert program. I just use the jug then its gone. Now if i start to see over feeding or lockouts ill flush.
But if i keep my water on point i never usually see a lock out or toxicity.
Hope this helps

Yeah you guys have all had my back on this grow so far and I can't tell you how much it means to a noob to not feel "alone" when venturing off to the wonderful world of autos. I actually have some stuff/guides of yours and FD's that I copied and pasted into my Microsoft Word god forbid I can't get online sometime. Going to add to it what you posted above. I also like to go back and re-read you guys' guides to make sure it sinks in. I'm just going to sit and watch then. Relax a little bit now that they are flushed properly. I'm going to see how much the FFOF is here at the local shop and I'm gonna ponder whether to put them in it later on. Thanks again man! Can't thank you all enough for all the replies.

good stuff man... you'll be fine... glad to help... its how we keep such a great community... everyone contributes and helps... powerful multiplier! :)

peavce and good karma for you n yours mate!

Same to you brother! I agree... You guys have really built and maintain a positive and encouraging community!! I'm so glad you all got together and made this site!! SANCTUARY ROCKS!! I will get some updated pics up tomorrow so you can see the progress. The second nodes are O.K. The first nodes on a few are definitely goners. But on all of them the third node looks great and the fourth is starting as I type. They all look nice and green as well.

the entire grow but i slowly add the fish mix untill there about five weeks old then i up the level!

Thanks Gunner! I've been looking at that stuff. Gonna see if they have it at the local grow shop. I'll get some pics up in the next few hours. I think they are fine today. I don't see any nute burn progressing since the flush. The DW really did flush them good! Be back with some pics later.

Hey All! I got the updated pics I promised. The new growth looks good! The 5 finger leaves are finally coming out! Looking like the MJ leaf! On a few of the plants the first node leaves have died and fallen off the plant. I figured it would happen. You can see in the pics. There's only 1 maybe 2 that will keep the damaged leaves. The new nodes look great. The pH Control Kit came today and we tested our tap(well) water and it was at 7.0. So, I'm assuming it was nute burn. Can being .5 off really cause deficiencies? Checked the distilled water too. Of course came in right at 6.5. Could I use DW the whole way through to feed with nutes? Of course I'm NOT feeding til they show which they haven't yet. Also, when I check the pH when I feed... Do I check the water BEFORE the nutes or after I mix it all together? And just for the record we are at Day 24/26 now. 24 since been in soil. 26 since they germ'd. I also took them out from under the HPS to photo so you can see their true color. Ok, here's the pics...

116-1 Day 24.JPG116-2 Day 24.JPG116-3 Day 24.JPG This is who we call 116. Lost one leaf. Probably drop the second in a few hrs.
Runty-1 Day 24.JPGRunty-2 Day 24.JPGThis is the Runt. It has the thickest stem out of them all! Hope she'll be a fat female!
Jesco-1 Day 24.JPGJesco-2 Day 24.JPGThis is Jesco. Named after Jesco White!
BUK-1 Day 24.JPGBUK-2 Day 24.JPGThis is Buk. Named after a dear friend who is no longer with us. RIP Uncle BUK!
Mamie-1 Day 24.JPGMamie-2 Day 24.JPGThis is Mamie! Named after Jesco's sister Mamie White!
Ouija-1 Day 24.JPGOuija-2 Day 24.JPGAnd this is Ouija. She lost both her first set of true leaves but the rest of her looks o.k. now.

Let me know what you guys think and please let me know if I'm right about the pH. It was a light color greenish yellow. So by the chart it looked like between 6.5 and 7.
