Buzzard takes a trip down the Breeding Rabbit Hole

We are at Day 23 I believe. I kind of neglected the plants the last little while after a good friend took his life and turned my world upside down. I am slowly getting over it and the plants have done well without a lot of my input. The girls have all been repotted in 5 gallon fabric pots. The roots passed through the fabric of the nursery pots very well and made for an easy transplant. They have all been fimmed between the 5th and 6th internode and had first node growth removed.

The back left is the Canna Cheese, and back right is the Jedi Mind Juice. The front two are from my first round of breeding. I am quite liking the Flora Flex nutrients so far. They are easy to weigh and mix and so far have been fairly stable in the feed reservoir.

Buzzard sorry to hear about your friend and neighbor. Lost my best friend this year also.

Day 28 and the girls got a little defoliation and some LST for canopy maintenance. They are looking great for 4 weeks old. I had to move a couple of clip fans because they were causing some leaf cupping on the closest plants. They seem to be liking the Flora Flex nutes. They are getting 4 feeds per day now and runoff is close to 20%.

Day 51 by my count. It is going well so far. The secret is out so i can divulge the breeding behind the auto regs. They are Golden Triangle auto, which are a three way landrace cross. One from Thailand , one from Laos, and one from Myanmar. These were brought to auto with Lil Stick and worked to f4 by @LaughingHyenaSeeds . They still need a bit of training as they stretched for two weeks longer than the Mephisto girls and are still stacking like mad. I have dusted one branch on each of the mephisto girls with the pollen I saved in round one. It appears to have worked because the pistils are curling up and turning red on those branches. The mephistos are cbd rich strains with the Canna Cheese being a 1:1, and the Jedi Mind Juice being a 4:1 thc : cbd. I am hoping this will add some cbd to the mix as well as speed the stretch up and shorten the cycle time.

Nice looking plants, small side note , if you breed for CBD you have to know that CBD are recessive to THC it's the same protein that active the gen to produce THC or CBD .
