Seed Bank Buying Flash/Stitch seeds from seed banks.

I wanted to say after several more emails with several more seed banks over the last week ALL have said the same thing.
1. They buy right from Stitch
or
2. They buy for a highly respected distributor.
So someone is telling a good story and its nothing more then that, a good story.
Why do the seed banks NOT know they are selling fake seeds? If I was a breeder I would make every effort to protect my name.
I would never in a million years let a seed bank sell something of mine that was a fake. Even if I was ripped off. I would ask the seed banks to
remove the product and tell them I will replace it free of cost as soon as I can.
If the seed banks are lying then who knows for how long we have been buying bad seeds in breeders packs and who knows how many are fake.
The way seed banks reported on the forums, fake seeds would of been called out long before.

I can verify attitude sells official stitch seeds. ^_^
No the seeds you'll get from attitude came from stitches distrubtor and they will more than likely be real stitch gear just possibly mislabeled... Your best bet from real stitch gear is seedsman or dope seeds :thumbs:

Disagree. If this was true the seed banks would remove the seeds.
More to the story then what Stitch wants to tell.
Why are most of the seed banks out of his stuff now?
Yota I saw a post from stitch even saying that seedsman seeds are fake. That at some point Seedsman would carry his "real stuff"

IMHO, seed banks are straight shady. Who hasn't had a fem seed from a bank go hermie on them? Who hasn't had poor germination rates from a bank? Who hasn't ordered autos that didn't auto? Or seeds that were clearly not what was ordered? I have had at least one of these experiences with each of the seed banks discussed in this thread.
My question is, and this isn't for testers, who has paid for seeds directly from Stitch and then had these problems with those seeds?
If your seeds aren't sealed the way they come from the breeder then you really are entirely at the mercy of the distributor.

Thanks for the info Muddy. For me, it is more important that someone can defend themselves when discussed in a public forum, unless the private discussion is with the intention of reaching some beneficial resolution.
Just because he can still read people bashing on him while unable to speak in his defense doesn't really sit better with me from an ethical standpoint.
Now, since his is clearly a soapbox forum for people's opinions... People can be really insensitive on the internet, and it is easy to offend people and be misunderstood. Especially when directing business-related criticism toward someone who does not speak your language as well.
This looks from the outside more than anything like a case of keyboard warriors saying things in a way they would never say to a person 's face. I'm really not trying to defend anything that I wasn't a part of, but the man clearly stated here that he can't be responsible for gear not obtained from him or these other distributors. He asked the discussion to stop past that, and was obviously upset with the entire situation at the time.
Again, just speaking as someone who has been reading all this...
Seems to me like unless you are a seed bank who is upset with this breeder for some reason, none of this matters and if you want to grow autos that the man breeds, get them where he guarantees the genetics, and if not don't, and if you have paid and have problems then you have a lot to complain about. Lol.
Seriously, why would you trust a seed bank? Lol, they have it clearly states in their policies that you aren't even supposed to sprout the beans and they therefore aren't liable. Not that they don't right wrongs, I have had great experiences with some... And terrible experiences with all.
I live in NorCal, had my first successful crop 15 years ago, and have grown over 100 strains to completion in my crop and grow rooms I have helped in... I ONLY trust clones and seeds from people i meet in person.
Dispensary clones are never verified. The seeds generally have some name that you'll never hear or see or verify again (unless you got some TGA or something along those lines).
Considering all the fakes out there... If Berner was personally selling his Cookies seeds I would buy them from him over anybody else, and if he said the others were bs i sure wouldn't buy those and blame him. Why would you not buy directly from a breeder???

Which strain and what makes you want to grow this strain from this breeder?
Have you seen a grow with it and liked it? If so ask them maybe?
He used to promote his facebook page on all the sites so you could try that if you have it, although I personally wouldn't use facebook if its about weed, even if I was in Coloarado.

Perhaps I can shed some light on the situation regarding Stitch. First off, he hasn't been banned from AFN but his access has been limited to read only and Private Messages. This was done primarily to stop his constant flaming. His presence here has always been problematic and reached the point where we felt this was the best way to bring it to a halt. We went above and beyond with him, more than with any other member who caused such problems, before taking these steps. I'm sure Stitch sees things differently and I know for a fact he is saying we banned him. Not true.
Regarding where to get his seeds, the only place I can say with certainty that you will get good ones is through Short Stuff. Stitch isn't the owner of Short Stuff, but has bred a lot of the strains for the owner. I know the owner and he has assured me that he has plenty of good stock which was produced before this latest round of problems.

The biggest question, why wont so many respectable seed banks yank his seeds if they are fake?
Its extremely damaging to his rep and the seed banks rep to carry bunk/fake seeds.
No one would want that.
