Seed Bank Buying Flash/Stitch seeds from seed banks.

Have 3 Chaze and 3 KVS all germed both from attitude
and I am happy so far but if I ever have a problem
I'll take it on the chin and buy from the 3 places Stitch recommended.

My opinion on this:
Seems there is ALWAYS some hazard in seed business for small/medium breeders.
Take for example KC Brains, most of the internet rumors are like those beans are s**t, germ rates are low, who knows what kind of complaints from customers who faithfully buy seeds and expect some stability or whatever. Thing is, KC got in a conflict with Gypsy(over seed prices) and Gypsy was selling KC's seeds without taking basic care(out of packs, mixed, too high temperature, old stock, etc.). The result is obvious, the middle-man ruined(on purpose) a good breeder's reputation, because people are too lazy to buy seeds directly from the breeders. Those who do, usually don't complain over quality, as I've seen over the netz.
Also respected and legendary growers(like Silverback) have a great opinion of KC's strains, but the mainstream doesn't.
I think this story is quite parallel to Stitch's story and that's why I generally like to buy directly from the source and not from middle-men. However I have good opinion of some middle-men also, not everyone is bad.

I didn't know about that either! Years ago I tried 3 packs of KC beans and I only ended up with 2 keepers.. Seemed pretty low to me. But I also bought some LR#2 beans recently and had a huge difference in phenos and quality of buds, Im currently in the grow and it doesn't seem stable at all yet this is one of the first auto strains created, how is that?

KC is another breeder your best off dealing direct with. I've emailed him and I got a nice reply. Yep, a middleman can screw things up big time.

After thinking about my last post post here I looked up how to buy seeds from joint DR direct and I found his website called joint DR direct. He says fake seeds are being sold as his beans right now and he has a few outlets listed to buy from where he knows its legit beans.. He says the new packs have a hologram and serial number on the pack...
I didn't realize this was this big of an issue with beans now! Maybe my current grow journal is fake LR#2 beans, they all auto flowered but don't look very Lowryder and don't have stability! I grew the beans 9 years ago and they were very stable but now the pack I got is all out of whack...
If this is the same case I feel for you stitch! This must be horrible to run into as a breeder!

Stop what exactly? Realizing that this is happening to a lot of breeders out there and realizing that your being a stand up dude and offering your seeds direct? Im sorry if this is upsetting but people need to know that there are counterfeit seeds out there.. This is education for all that reads this... If I bought fake seeds from another breeder going through the same thing then that means Im on the market for new beans.. I don't see Joint Dr. responding directly to my comments but you are and you have some nice strains... I will be contacting you soon Stitch, please just be patient with growers who are just realizing this is a problem.. Everyone here seems to be showing you support right now!
Hey Stitch! Be cool, if you look at this thread now, people are seeing that you are right, and others have been deceived by other people too. So be glad this got discussed. Also, please, look at the buyers side of things. People who spend their money on MJ seeds are at the mercy of the sellers and its understandable that they get upset when things go wrong. The information just bought forth in this threads shows that other breeders have been deceived also, so that helps vindicate your statements. We're with you on this issue!
