I keep separate humidors for my cigars for that very reason. Using the electronic humidifiers helps keep everything perfect. Worth the investment if you ask me.

I vacuum pack for long term storage and keep them in a cool, dark place. I have some that is 4 years old now. I do notice a slight drop in potency after about 2 years.

Secondly, I currently have 10 hygrometers that I use on various jars but I use to manage a cigar shop several years ago so I got them on the cheap. Also I use to keep my weed in humidors but didnt like the adverse effect of the taste of the weed that the tabacco and cedar imparted into the weed.
