High There !!!
Well this will be my 1st Grow Journal ever. I have been growing for almost 2 years & this is my 5th or 6th grow (not sure). However, I completely changed my entire set up & the way I'm growing so I may need some help from you experts out there. I've always grown in soil til now.
OK.... The Details : I'm growing in a 5' x 10' x 7' tent. I'm using 2 - Advanced Platinum P900's & 6- Kessil COB lights. I use a 8" x 40" Phresh Filter with a 6" Max Fan for Exhaust & a 4" Fan & Filter for Intake Air. I also have the house A/C ducted into my tent. I have a 6 gallon Humidifier that kind of works as a swamp cooler & 3 Clip on Fans running. I also have 2 - 50# Co2 Tanks, Regulator, Atlas 3 Controller & Lines that are hooked up & ready to go should I decide to use it.
That's pretty much my set up. I'll post some pics.

This time around I'll be growing in 70% Coco & 30% Perlite. 1 Plant will still be in soil as it's a Re-Veg I want to get clones from. I'll be growing 6 different Auto's, 2 different photo's & 1 Re-Veg Photo this grow. The 6 Auto's are "Northern Lights, Critical 2.0, Northern Lights x Critical 2.0, AK 47, AK 47 x Six Shooter, Haze XL" & these are all in 5 gallon cloth pots. The 2 Photo's are "Widows Breath & Afghan Kush" & will be grown in 3 gallon plastic pots. The Photo Re-Veg is a Seed Stockers "Big Bud". I'm germinating directly in the soil. The Photo's have 12 oz. cups buried inside the 3 gallon pots for easy transplant later.
I'll be using all Advanced Nutrients line up of Coco Safe products ( Sensi Grow & Bloom A & B, Piranha, Voo Doo Juice, Bud Candy, Overdrive, Big Bud, Rhino Skin, CalMag, B-52 & Final Phase). I use Tap water & although my nutes are suppose to be pH perfect they don't hit what I want so I use pH down til I get to 5.8.
Oh, yes I flushed my Coco. Took 75 gallons of pH'd water before Run Off came back 6.0. 2 - Botanicare 5 kg. bricks.
Oh well, I think everything is Good to go so time to sow the seeds.
I'll be back as soon as something sprouts.

I have a 6 gallon Humidifier that kind of works as a swamp cooler
An evaporative humidifier was the 4th humidifier I bought and it's the only one that works. Don't know why I bothered with the others as I have owned evaporative coolers on and off in my life. I think my brain fell out. I have a cooler as well for the summer heat. Good luck with the grow.

Planted the 8 seeds today & gave each 1 - 12 oz. cup of 1/4 strength nutes through out entire pot. Seemed a little light so didn't just water in the center. Just adding enough to keep the Coco a little damp.

As I'm getting this grow started I'm trying different settings on my Intake, Exhaust & Humidifier to find the best possible Temp & RH for this grow. Ran 2 tests so far : 1st test I turned Exhaust Off & put Intake on Medium with both settings on the Humidifier on High. Lights ON / Vent Closed: Temps hit 82 F & 56% RH. Lights OFF/ Vent Open : Temps hit 72 F with 72 % RH. Lights ON / Vent Open : Temp is 81 F with 60 % RH. Not sure about Lights OFF / Vent Closed yet.

Well so far it doesn't seem to make a whole lot of difference no matter which combination of settings I use. I'm staying between 79 - 82 F with 50 - 60% RH. I'm going to keep trying a few more days on it to try to get to 77 - 79 F with 60 - 70% RH. If I don't hit it I'll go with the closest I can get. I figure I have a week or 2 to get everything dialed in as perfect as I can. I've always had 2 - 2.5 oz. per plant grows in soil & not trying to get things as perfect as I could. Since I up graded all my equipment I thought I should probably be more thorough with my environment settings also. I just finished a Big Bud plant. It had vegged under a 600 watt Meizhi LED. I bought the 1st P900 right before I went into flower so I switched out the light. I ran the P900 on Bloom Only & I ended up pulling 5.5 oz. dry off this plant. With that being said....I'm hoping for my best grow ever.
I will be doing Auto Pots on the grow after this. I have bought my 1st 2 Pot XL system, Air Domes, Air Pump, etc to see what it was like. Going to order 2 more sets of 2 so I have 6 total before I start using them. I keep upgrading something before every grow. Someday I hope to get some of those 1 lb. plants that others say they're getting.
Any tips from you Master Growers on how to get there ?

Pick a medium and a nutrient and a plant and stick with it until you master it. DWC and you can do it. Autopots probably. Pick a big strain and go to work. It can take several grows if the same plant to know how to push it that far. A lot of times one pound plants will have been HST and slowed down to push them to 120 plus days.

Or just be happy growing lots of 5-10 ounce plants in 90 days or less. A lb plant needs a 4x4 to itself with at least 200 - 300 watts of cob or QB light. Just my thoughts

I’ll watch

That sounds like good advice & makes sense. However, I don't think I want to do HST or wait 120 days. Therefore I'll go with your 2nd suggestion & be happy with 5 - 10 oz. plants.
