High to all you Rollin' Stoners !!! I'm new to this site & to growing Auto's so I'm hoping to get some tips from you pro's. I have done 3 photo period grows (nothing to brag about as the yields weren't great). My 1st grow was 6 plants in a 2 x 4 x 6 tent & 4 ended up being males & were discarded.
I used bag seeds that time. This grow went through 8 weeks of veg with CFL's & 8 weeks of Bloom under a 250 watt HPS. Got a total of 4.5 oz. off 2 plants.
2nd grow was 10 plants in a 4 x 8 x 7 tent (bag seeds) under 2 Cheapo 600 watt LED's & 6 LED Spot Lights during Veg & a 1000 Watt Sun Systems XXXL Hood with Hortilux Eye bulb along with the 6 LED Spotlights during flower. Averaged 2.5 oz. per plant.
3rd Grow was just 2 plants in a 2 x 4 x 5 tent using 1 - 600 watt LED & 4 LED Spotlights through the entire grow. Still just 2.5 oz. per plant.
Topped 3 times during Veg. & went with a Water / Water / Feed schedule using a complete line up of General Hydroponics Nutes.
So now I'm ready to try some Auto's & see how that works out. I just bought a New 4' x 4' x 7' tent & a 600 Watt Meizhi LED Light with Grow & Bloom Switches. I'm using a 4" Inline Fan with Carbon Filter & Duct Muffler, 7 LED Spotlights for side lighting & 4 - Clip on fans. Tent is set up & ready to go !!!
I ordered 5 different kinds of Auto Seeds (3 seeds ea.) to try this out. They should be here in about a week.
Still have to go buy some Bio-Bizz or Plagron, Perlite, Coco & Vermaculite since all I have on hand is OF & it's too hot a mix for this (I think). I'll be using 5 gallon grow bags.
Still planning on using the same nutes as I have full qt.s of everything.
I have a few questions though .... Will my lighting be enough for this size tent ?
How high to keep the light during each phase with Auto's ?
How many Auto's should I grow in a 4' x 4' tent ?
I hear Auto's grow smaller & with photo period plants I wouldn't put more than 4 in a tent this size.
Would 6 Auto's be OK ?
Anyways, I've been reading the Forums here for about 2 weeks & found most the info I was looking for on my own. But sometimes I just gotta ask.
Looking forward to talking with you all soon. Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks !!!
