Hello everyone

I have 3 syrup and one tha shiznit ( ignore it its stunted to hell) 56 days in, they are just starting to flower properly and are already over 1m tall! I thought this was a short plant?

Lighting is a 700watt led, in a 1m square 2m tall tent. my concern is I have about 8 inch of space under the led, the stems are too thick to tie over. Vertical growth has stopped, but there isn't much room for the buds to grow in height and the bud spacing seems more Sativa than indica.

No way will they be ready in 60 days and i'm doubtful that 70 days will be enough either.

In the same tent there are two Herijuana and two critical kush vegging (all photoperiod) so as you can imagine its getting tight in there.

Is there anything I can do to speed up the flowering on the syrup? lighting is currently 20/4

anybody?

Cheers

Don't ignore that one who knows what might happen? and what is making her stunted? Size depends on a lot of factors not just on if it's a big/small plant.

Here is your answer although I don't know the size of your pots I'm already guessing it might be pretty big. This combined with a high amount of light will make even small plants grow big. As far as I know you should be putting small plants in small containers with less light for an optimal harvest. (indoors)

How do the fan leaves look? are they wide fingered or are they small and long fingered or anywhere in between? thinking it's just the syrup plants you're talking about looking these up I found that they are a 50% indica so could verywell be sativas

Some plants take longer then others. Don't believe what seedbanks tell you! it's almost always longer.

can't speed up flowering! but fully flowering shouldn't take very long and since they've stopped verical growth the most they're going to do now is fatten up the buds.

anybody?

Hi Bevis, I'm growing in a really short space with a 700W light. When I have plants that are approaching the light I pull their tops off to the sides of my tent and away from the light. What I think this does is prevent light burn at the top of the plant and allows more light to get to the bottom of the plant where small popcorn buds develop. I wouldn't worry about the stems bending. If you have to tilt your pot or net cups you'll be fine. Good luck!:tiphat:

Cheers mate

The wilma pots are 11 litres but as its hydro the roots have got into the res too, so a mix of drip and DWC now.
I've written the shiznit off but won't pull it, its about 8 inch tall but nearly totally shaded by the 3 syrups.

The pot spacing in a 4 pot Wilma is too tight.

The syrup leaves are definately indica but the node and bud spacing looks more like a Sativa, the plants would be very open if they weren't so close together. Not the classic xmas tree indica shape.

The plants are all healthy, slight nute burn on the tips of one but not the others ppm is 540, i'll try to get some pics later.

Again many thanks for the reply.

Buds seem small for 56 days?

Cheers amigo's.

The buds do look small for 56 days, although I am not familiar with that strain. I'd up the ppm slowly and make sure your pH is in range (around 5.8). A decent pH meter is worth it's weight in gold. Cheers!

Ph is 6.1 and I can't up the nutes as just got a bit of nute burn on the tips. using canna a+b which buffers the ph.

Cheers
