Indoor Buddha seeds purple kush grow journal

spot on Andy!! I like em better then a smart pot for a few reasons.
1)smartpots sit on the bottom of the saucer and dont get air. The EZ roots do!!
2)smartpots are short squat, where the EZ roots are bit taller and will let the auto tap root grow deeper.
3)smartpots are a bitch to move unless they have handles.
4)lets face it, sh*t happens in the grow room and the added plastic "cage" is great for any potential knocking or moving going on. Upside is they are a breeze to move and the fabric pots that go in em have handles on em too!!! Bonus!!
I will always use smartpots outside for veggies, they work great and I will definitely use em in the tent again, just wanted to try something different. The only down side to the airpots I hear from others, is that they are a bitch when it comes to watering and getting it everywhere or the water comes out the top half of the pot and no feed or water gets to the bottom third of the medium. One can overcome the watering problem in the air pot by simply filling it with medium to the top, then gently pressing the medium down in a bowl shape, so all the water travels to the center and not out the sides. I will get a few air pots soon and give em a go. 20 years ago, I thought I was on to something, when I used plastic pots, took a razor knife and cut out slots in the sides and bottom and lined the thing with window screen!!! Thanks for checkin in and the Magnum smoke is superb!!!:peace:

Thanks for the info. Just ordered a bunch for the new tent

Hey AFN!! Update day with pics in natural light. Purple Kush day 62 and the Kush Van Stitch is on day 57. After working out the ph issues and getting a new pen, I am going to get a Accurate 8 soil ph probe and dial this sh*t in!!! I am going to let these ladies go another 2 weeks and give em their last feed and PK boost tonight. Post chop will put the PK's on day 76 and the KVS on day 71. Any questions or comments would be welcome!! On to some pics....:peace:

Looking good man. I have that variety pack from Buddah seed. I hope i have one of those beans in there. I have (what i think) is deimos, and what I think is Magnum (is in veg), check it out if you want to see what the other strains look like.

Thanks for stopping by Panic! Watch out for the Magnum. She will outgrow everything else in your tent!! But her smoke is TOP shelf!!! Deimos is a great grow too. I love Buddha Seeds. Solid genetics!! I have all their seeds except deimos. Think I'm gonna run the syrup in 5 gallon pots next.

I know i have that strain in my unlabeled vile lol, hopefully ill be able to identify it. I need to look at your magnum, but mine is already as tall as my first 3 weeks in.

Thanks andy!! THE most beautiful plant I have grown to date!! I just hope her smoke is half as good as she looks. I plan on making a mixed bag of kief out of the trim from the Magnum, KVS and the PK's using the dry ice method. I put 2 grams of keif and 1 box of liquid Oregon Chai in a pan and heat it just below a boil for about 10 minutes, let it cool and put it back in the box the chai came in and use it in my morning coffee!!

I will try for a few closeups for ya tomorrow hank!!! But I got to warn you, I am only using a 2.1 mp olympus at the moment and my up close shots suck!!! I cannot push them any longer hank. I got 2 weeks to the day to chop em. I got family coming for a visit and the wife asked for no sign of canna anything the day they arrive.(gotta box it all up,lights, tent, everything!!!) It is probably a good thing because after they leave, me and the misses are on vacation for spring break and will be out of town. I don't think they will have the tonnage or girth yours had, but a few weeks can make a big difference. I hit em pretty hard on their last few feeds, with less on the flower nutes and a touch heavier on additives and PK boost. I have been running Sugaree and snowstorm for the last 2 weeks and the trich production is looking great!! The tallest pk is 28' from top of the soil to the tip of the cola.
