Tutorial Bubble Hash Made Simple

heres tutorial on how to make some
BUBBLE HASH THE TRICHOME FARMER WAY
HERES WHAT YOU NEED
bubble bags a 2 bag set will work with 220micron work bag and a 25micron bottom bag to catch the resin the more bags you have the more refined the final product will be next up.
a mixing spoon anything that is good and rigid will work just fine
a 25micron pressing screen not essential but very handy to have most bubble bag sets come with one if not the internet will provide
also a couple of towels or paper towels to wick some moisture from the hash before freezing

img_20180304_180952-jpg.873366

make sure your bags are in the right order largest micron size at the top so in my case this goes 220 . 160. 75 and 25

img_20180304_180958-jpg.873367

you will need a 25l bucket to fit the bags into iv mine here making use of the snow to keep the water ice cold very important to have everything as cold as possible for the best results
img_20180304_181023-jpg.873368

next get your brick of mexican swag the you got from diego :rofl:freeze it for at least 24hrs but since im here in europe il make do with my bluetoof trim and bottom buds
img_20180304_181157-jpg.873369

two 2.5kg bags of ice will be enough to do about 200 or 300 grams wet

img_20180304_181513-jpg.873370

layer the ice and trim in 2 or 3 inch deep sections
img_20180304_181801-jpg.873371

fill the water up to the top of the ice and let sit for five minutes
img_20180304_182138-jpg.873372

for the first run i mix for 5 mins in a clockwise motion changing to anti clockwise every other minute then drain the bags i also do a second run where i repeat the process this second run i mix for 15mins the reason for doing a 5min run and a 15min run is that the shorter run will give a much better color in your final product the less time the resin spends in the water the blonder/ whiter it will come out due to the chlorophyll not getting in to the resin
img_20180304_182626-jpg.873373

pull the first bag and let any water drain into the lower bags and place into a bucket for the second run later then proceed to pull the second bag and so on to gather the resin in a pile at the bottom of the screen you can do this by moving the bag up and down with slight force this will pile the resin in the center of the screen any that is left on the side you can move into the pile by using a spray bottlel with cold water now is where your spoon come into use use it to scoup up the resin and place on your pressing screen
img_20180304_183535-jpg.873375

img_20180304_183803-jpg.873376

once you have taken as much resin of the screen as possible from the screen wash your bag into the final bag no resin washed down the drain this way
img_20180304_183813-jpg.873377

now the final bag is the hardest to drain due to the small micron size but a handy trick is grap the bag so no water can splash out of the top the gently but quicky jerk the bag up and down a few times to release the resin from the screen this will empty the bag much faster but be carefull untill you get a feel it no one wants to mop up resin on the floor you can just let it drain over time by hanging the bang up but i like to get the resin out of the water as soon as possible
img_20180304_184127-jpg.873378

if your having trouble getting the rsin in the bottom of the bag hees another trick grab the rein from the underside of the screen hold it in your hand while your turn the bag inside out then stretch the screen as best you can over your hang a big glass bowl will work either
img_20180304_184515-jpg.873379

here the wet resin before freezing from left to right 75micron 25micron and the 2nd run where i only used the 25micron bag
now this is where you need to fold your pressing screen in half over the resin wraped in you twel and press lightly your not trying to squish it just press some extra moisture from the hash
img_20180304_192012-jpg.873380

after being in the freezer for 2 hours you want to make sure its frozen solid
img_20180304_204325-jpg.873383

PART TWO FINAL STEPS

take the frozen hash lumps and brake into fine pieces as small as you can get them i like to shave/cut into small parts you can also use a micro plane or a kitchen seive
img_20180304_204403-jpg.873410

now the most important part drying the hash i went to my local pizza place got some new pizza boxs and lined them with parchment paper this will help wick the moisture out of the hash if you cant get pizza boxs some flat carbord will work also spread the hash as evenly as you can
img_20180304_204314-jpg.873411

and place them somewhere warm and dry not too hot or it will get sticky and messy in there depending on your areas humidty you can start smoking it in a couple of days but for a fully dry hash id wait a good two weeks
img_20180304_205024-jpg.873412

finished pressed product the one on the left is rosin

img_20180608_143336-jpg.916235

il update later with better pictures when i find them
hope this helps out some people out there bubble haSh is a much purer and cleaner way of processing your trim happy smoking people

You can also use Dry Ice, methology is a bit different i think, dry ice supposedly works well with frozen live material.
i dont know about using salt would be a good idea a few bags of ice will do the trick the snow was just because it was there normally id just use bagged ice

yeah it works well you get more of a kief consistancy than hash and if its fresh material it will be a sticky mess when it thaws out plus its pretty hard to get dry ice where i live

Finally got around to making some BubbleHash and a thanks

to @Trichome farmer for turning me onto the methods and thread. The one chunk weighs 8 grams. I used scraps from my Purple Kush harvest. Couldn't wait to try some so I dropped some in the pipe and power dried it with the Bic lighter. I am impressed.

great work that 140m looks great do you only have a those bags or did you get a 75-73micron bag aswell?

There is 4 bags 220-160-73-25 micron. The only bags that produced are the 73 micron and the 25 micron ? Oh crap on my sheet I Listed the 160 micron in place of the 73 my bad, lots of partying goin on. The 73 and the 25 micron were the only producers. There was never much in the 160 ? (I edited the pic)

i dont see the 73 micron run in the pic thats why i asked your best quality hash come from this bag

Thanks for straightening my stoned ass out I edited the pic :pass:
hahaha i was like damm never seen such a good 160 run from what iv learned about hash sifting if your 73 bag was light the plant wasnt mature enough when harvested it can be a very tricky sweet spot to find not sure iv ever got it right yet but im trying of course different strains will play a part in this also but its a fun hobby
