New Grower Bubba Kush auto - greenhouse/outdoor

I've set the resolution of my phone higher and got out the moist / light / pH sensor.

Moisture (about 24h hours after watering)

pH (around 7.5 i guess.)

Light (more than enough in the low countries lately :-D)

I have been very carefull about watering. Often I found the soil to be very dry, but I have been able to resist over watering her. So she got about once in 3 - 4 days the water she needed. After all it's a small littkIe plant, isn't she. :)

So today, no more water. We could have some thunderstorm with hail and all today. Hopefully she'll survive... But she is well protected by het surrounding friends, sunflowers, larkspur, poppy's, etc

Looking good man and I like the mention of the other plants you have keeping her company.

Looks like you have a nice view across fields too just beyond your garden [emoji3]

Cheers

Good and bad news...

The good news: I'm approaching harvest I think. This is a first-time-grow so I'll depend more on what you guys tell me then what I think ;-) , but the trichomes appear to be milky. (or does one say cloudy? :-D )
No amber colored trichomes to be seen yet, IMO. According to my calculations (and the seed website) harvest should be in a week or 2 (or so). Anyway, I'll keep a close(r) eye on her the coming days.

The bad news: I saw that a part of the flowers were rotten (or just dried out?). I have no idea if this is mold or so. I'm also not quite sure what to do. Leave or remove it as quickly as possible?
Maybe imprtant to mention, is that I won't be smoking the weed. I want to make a tincture of (about) 90° alcohol with it.
A mold would'nt survive the alcohol, however, I've had enough microbiology in school to know that the spores won't be killed by the alcohol. Oh wel, it is what it is.

These are the pictures I just took.
First the entire plant. (The beer can gives you an idea of its height. (Not very tall I know ;-) but that's ok.
Then the lower part, the middle, just below the top and the top of the plant.

Finally 2 pics of the rotten/dried out part.

Lower part of the plant

Thanks for giving me your advice and opinion on when to harvest and of course what I should do with the rotten part!

Hey DN She is very pretty You did a great job!! But keep in mind she is a outdoor plant so you have to deal with mother nature.. Cut out that rot!!! just cut it best you can and IMO she is way to green i see the trics but id like to see her more ripe and less green. her hair is to white and she is not ready for chop but the mold is something to watch.. Try and get her to go longer but watch that mold cut it out with scissors.

hey buddy, gutted about that mould there. shes an extremely happy looking plant otherwise. shes praising the sun like mad. just cut off the bad bit and keep an eye out for any more. some grow though mate. whatever your doing keep it up. :greenthumb:

- 79 days after germination
Website Dinafem says: Comprehensive life cycle 65-70 days ( In Dutch they ad 10 days!! :-/ ??? Uitgebreide lifecycle: 70 - 80 dagen)

I got rid of the rot. She's doing ok I guess, but I do see some individual dry/rot leaves. It has been raining in Belgium a few times, but nothing to serious. Maybe she's just getting tired?

Photos were taken about 15hours ago.1st ones from lower part, then middle part and last the top of the plant

Thanks for you opinions on when to harvest. I'm going for a narcotic high (stone).

I know it's a small plant in a small pot; but this was intented, since it's my first grow.
I already got a new Bubba Kush Auto, a Little Dipper and a Dutch Automatic growing up. Those I plan to transplant in full outdoor soil.

Please. Click on each foto to zoom in if you would like to check the trichomes

So here she is my first Cannababy :-)

Ok, I've decided to cut her down.

I don't see any amber trichomes yet, but a lot (almost all) very cloudy. I'd like to wait a few more days, since I'm looking for that narcotic effect, but I've notice bud rot set in in a few place, and I don't want to risk to lose the entire plant...

It is a Bubba Kush Auto, she's already know for her strong Indica properties (calming, body stone) so I'm going for it. Maybe she's not at her top, but the hell with it. :)

This is not a picture I took, but it gives you a good idea of what I'm seeing trough my telescope. from time to time I do see a clear trichome, but I suppose those are more recent ones.
