Report from Day 17
CONDITIONS:
80*f 68%Rh
24/0
550 µmol/m 2
Lung room running at 75*F

With the better conditions, and the lung room worked out much better, the girls are much improved. I still have them on 24/0. It's now because of heating during the off cycle. Yeah, I think they need a rest period.
Looks like I need to throw the hot oil radiator style heater for the off cycle and run 20/4.

Compost tea really has a good bloom going, but the girls are still too wet to water..........at least a full watering.
They should be dry enough tomorrow for a limited top watering after I go ahead and add the Timothy hay.

Leaf damages is from the cooler temps. They tolerated it the worst of the girls. All girl's new growth is fantastic.

Day 25 Midwest Widow
Not much of a stretch in veg but otherwise looking fine. With the colder nights and days, I am having a bit of an issue getting humidity right. The big humidifier I bought is basically a swamp cooler. At night the heat kicks on and wants to heat and dry the air. Humidifier wants to cool and wet the air so they are canceling each other out. I need to pull out my old stanley steamer humidifiers.
All for now

Yeah, that latent heat of vaporization can play hell in cooler temps. Sure can help when there's heat in your tent though!!! It also helps when you're running methanol in a turbo drag car too! No intercooler needed!!:eyebrows::eyebrows::biggrin:
Yeah, that cooler temps was my problem for a few days when the lung room went from being cooled with the package a/c to using the heat of the lighting. My particular issue was because the air in the lung room was becoming stratified and I couldn't get a stable tent temp or humidity. Simple fix! I turned on the ceiling fan! :d5::rofl: I also directed one of my clip on fan to hit the light and keep the tent from being stratified also and to better distribute the heat inside the tent.

The tent is now pretty stable and the girls show it. An interesting thing I notice now, is that the lung room runs pretty much the same temp as it was when I was cooling the lung room. The temps and humidity were rock stable then too.

It may get back to a cooling need later this week for a couple of days. Since I think I have this particular set up figured out, I don'y think it will be too difficult to transition for a few days and then back to what I'm doing now

I think I need to get the central air fixed. The bus has a combo heat/ac unit that was only made for 3 years. Finding parts is difficult and if you can find a whole unit it's over $3500 plus labor- that I don't have right now. Would be nice to free up 40 amps of power though. My Sparky said he'd look at when summer was over- guess its time to give him a holler. Until then, maybe I can get the temp down a bit so I can lower the RH.

Week 4 Day 30 midwest widow
