Brother Mendel's Selections Midwest Widow Q4 2021 Grow-and-Show!

Definitely a pollen sac, and no obvious female parts…. that I can see. Watch carefully, especially if you are growing other plants. Only takes one sac to foul an entire tent. Very vigorous plant.
Noticed I didn’t give a photo with pistils. Sorry about that! Yeah, she had an additional Al one you can see in the original photo that fell off. Don’t think neither of them released anything though. I’ve been on the lookout for any kind of powder residue. Nothing so far.

I just noticed in your earlier post that you gave her both cal/mag and Epsom salts. Pick one or the other but not both, your likely giving her WAY too much Mg. The plant looks fine and I see no reason to take her off the res. I've grown at least 40 plants i auto pots and never had one that was over watered.

DAY 31
Tent temp: 80 PAR: 380
Brother Mendel's Midwest Widow

She is doing good, however, I did see some yellowing of lower leaves. Never had that issue before. I gave her a little foliar spray of RAW
Nitrogen and contacted MOG for advice  PAR at canopy is 380 and she is getting same feed as before, just at a higher ppm of 550. I also took her off the autopot valve and rez as I think it may have been overwatering her, and I will just hand feed for a while. I also took off her net as for some reason this mom had the feeling she didnt like it. She has not been topped, and no LST. Nice structure on her!!

I use RO water, which is why I use both. starting PPM is 0. Just calmag has given me N tox problems in the past.

Day 29 from germination

5 gallon doing well. Started to grow a bit more. Added more LST clips to allow more light.

Solo cup is overwatered. I changed it up so water drains from the cup. Went days without watering and i just added a bit test drainage. Want to try another solo with some adjustment, thought I scaled down enough but obviously not!

UPDATE- 11/6/21, Day 28 both topped last week. Looking super uniform… they are like twins! Even though one is in 5 gal sip and the other is in 4 gal bucket of peat based soil. They are at 2.5 gpg MC, will up it to 3 gpg and add 1 gpg BE next feed which is happening every third day now. Temps are steady at 75 F with 55-60% H. Lights at top of tent @ 90%

Very nice!
I had a couple of days getting my lung room and tent dialed once cooler temps blew in and it slowed their rage for a couple of days.
Got the room fully dialed and the girls were playing hard this morning. Still on 24/0 and will be for a couple more days. I wanna get some of that development back and get their roots out more.
Gonna start malting some barley and brewing some compost tea. All the girls will get their first light feed with the SST and compost tea. Most of that is for the microbes and the root system.
Mine are at 17 days above ground and I turned up the lights to an average of 550ppfd last night and it was a very positive response from the whole tent. Back on track and love the baby girls.

I have noted what day is the average for showing sex?

Little girl seems to be doing great. Still some issues with bottom leaves being yellow, but I have done all I can so I am not going to fuss over her.
She is back on the rez, but now with the new aquavalve 5. I love it! Much larger tubing that they say will not block as often and can handle more than it could before~bennies, etc. Since she is already established, I just put the round cloth bag aside for my next grow and dropped her square pot in the round base. (not the first time I have tried to put a square peg in a round hole, but this time it worked!! )
She is currently on a feed of just 3g/G MC and tap water~pH'd to 5.8.

One of mine showed at day 24, the other just started yesterday! So, 4 days apart on showing. Thought it was early but have never grown this strain it may be around standard…?
