Hello AFN'ers and let me start with a massive thank you
to Platinum LED for the opportunity to test this light. I'm humbled by the chance.
I'm planning on growing a few plants during this test. I'm going to start with this straight coco grow then after we get back from vacation(August 1st) I'm going to start a dwc grow up.
My equipment and specifications:
Tent: 3x2x6 unbranded
Light: Platinum LED P300
Medium: Cyco coco and clay stones (for drainage)
Pot: Hydro Farm 7x7
Nutrients: Humboldt County's Own
Water: Tap
Lightning schedule: 18/6
Ventilation: 4in inline exhaust fan and 4in inline can with carbon scrubber
Strain: Mephisto Genetics Chem City Blues
This light arrived within a few days with no problems. The box was undamaged and well built. The light itself is heavy and solid feeling with no shakes or rattles. It was packed with a power cord, hangers, and information/instructions. I had to hang it directly to the tents light bar as I don't have any hangers at the moment. I usally raise the plants as needed. This light is quiet. I downloaded a decibel app to show how loud it is right outside the tent. I'm not sure the accuracy of the meter but I calibrated it as the directions guided.
