Hi, I’m EXTREMELY new to growing. Once the seeds germinate, can they be in darkness until they break soil? Or do they need light once I place them in soil? Thank you!

Once you see something emerge, light it up.

Got another question for you awesome guys. I plan on growing outdoors. I see a small stem beginning to break soil. Since the weather has been cloudy and rainy lately. Would it be a good idea to setup a few t5 bulbs in my shop just for days that there will be no sun?

Thanks for the into! I actually have 3 plants. One I sat outside and it has not broke soil yet. The other 2 I misted with water, covered the top, and placed in my shop. Those 2 broke soil this morning. How long should I keep them covered for humidity purposes?
