Lighting BRAND NEW PLATINUMLED COB PRO 1000 LIGHT TEST

Wow! That light is a game changer. Covering a 4x4 too , that is amazing. Cant wait to see how these finish out :headbang:
It is beautiful light the reason I do believe we see red and a off white is they did not have a phophorus coating put on the Cob chips ensuring a stronger spectrum. I know it is going to be a long last pot producing light. @PlatinumLEDTom should pop in with some specs and technical information soon. Like coverage in veg and bloom and veg and bloom together. She is a powerful light that will produce huge plants.

Hello everyone. WE are so excited to see this light back in action. Here are a few specs on the unit:

  • Bloom Coverage 4’x4’
  • Dimmable Dual Veg and Bloom Spectrums
  • Input wattage 420w
  • 3.8A @ 110V / 1.9A @ 220V
Heres a bit more information on the COB Pro 1000:

These are NOT the type of COBs you find in other lights. Traditional COBs are produced by packaging multiple diodes together on one chip, with a yellow phosphor coating making an intense white light. Anytime you put a coating on any light source you are filtering the light, making it slightly less intense...think of a coated light bulb. Not to say you can't grow some serious bud under traditional COBs.

The COB Pro 1000 includes the Platinum LED custom 14 band spectrum with NO phosphor coating. It's the same spectrum found in our other series lights, just in COB form. We expect this light to be available in 2019.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

The area is 4by4 that the new Platinum1000 pro Cob is covering right now in my 8by8 foot tent. That is a wicked sprawl. Here is few more pictures I have not been this excited to try something in a long time.

Here is a update I have the PRO COB 1000 at 25 inches above one forgotten cookies one Forum Stomper and 2 white Crack. They were put into the ground as freshly sprouted seedlings on December 10th they were all above ground by the 15th of December. They have been under the light for four days. I finished off a sticky fingers photo period just to get her up and running here comes the true test of this beautiful light.

What's up @DABaracuss? Great name BTW. We are seeing around 10-20% more intensity than some of the other COB chips on the market based on the few tests we've been able to do so far. It's tough to say how it compares to everything that is currently available. Their are a lot of different LED companies running multiple different COBs in their panels on the market. Some are probably better than others....

This light puts out a ton of intensity and uses our 14 band spectrum, which has no white LEDs. All of the LEDs in the majority of our lights have a narrow band specturm. No phospher coating.

I hope see some frosty dankness shortly....:smoking:
