I guess it's all trial and error until I get the dials right. I've been pruning off the lower bud sites and trimming up towards the top of the plant. It looks so much different, but it looks like it's getting a lot more sunlight dispursement now. I'm not too sure if you've seen the photo of the bud site, it's looking real sad and attacked from caterpillars.. What would I do in this scenario? It's towards the top of the plant, so it's going to be a main bud site.. I don't want to sacrifice it but at the same time I don't want the plant to waste it's energy trying to repair it. I've tried "fimming" one bud site that is also sun damaged and eaten by caterpillars just to see what results I get until I get some advise as to what to do to the other stems/bud sites that are looking sad.Pre flowering .

Now in this photo is how I have trained mine . This plant was outdoors . I brought it inside due to many days of 35 c plus . But it will give you an idea hoe I like to train mine .
