Yeah my first topping went tits up, it was a seedsman auto white widow but it hated the topping, she stopped growth and the buds were just leaf [emoji34] pissed me right off lol but I think i will be taking this approach now coz it works better for my space

Yeah huge difference, this is my second grow with it and still struggling to get it right lol it amazes me how strong these plants are....even after they've had their heads chopped off [emoji23]

hey guys been following from early on these are beauties, in regards to the mag problems i have used a few diff nutes like advance A&B Bloom, Cyco A&B Bloom and Green Planet go box ect and had a similar problem, but ever since i did i use pro cal from green planet it is recommended at 5 ml per gal and i use 2 ml or so from like day 20 sometimes earlier its npk is 1.1-0-0 so its lite i use i small doses from day 5 to 7 depends how it looks now no problems i use 1212 cobs as well. Sorry for the little ramble i also have a seedsman auto blue seed but cant do nething were i am at now hope to move soon seeing these makes me jelly good job on these again

I've actually just started applying the mag to my babies ive got at 2 weeks old just so i dont run into this problem again lol but i have a feel i will do, im starting to think maybe the lights too powerful for my space, im only growing in a 60x60x140cm tent so there's no height and my plants grow right into the light :/ I've only got a foot between light and plant tops so not the best situation. Bet you cant wait to start growing again!

Nice grow so far. I just read your journal and enjoyed it immensely. I was reading about your Cal-Mag problem and have a little experience with it that I can share. It appears you are growing in Soil as opposed to hydro type potting mix like CoCo.

My understanding is that when growing in soil PH less than 6.6 locks out Potassium, Calcium and Magnesium. The target PH for soil is between 6.3 and 6.8 with the target being 6.6-6.7. The attached lock out chart is really helpful. PH Perfect buffers their product so is can be absorbed outside ideal ranges.

I only buy from seedman or mephisto but been thinking of trying some auto flower portal seeds like rainbow stone, also be careful with the cal mag as it is n based so cut back on usually the a bottle of bloom nutes, as that has the most n in it so you dont end up with n tox or lock out as for ph the guy above is on the money only thing i would suggest is ph to 6.5 this way as the ph drops/climbs a bit it would be less likely to go under 6.2/6.3 or over 7(depends if your ph rises or falls) and also should not go more then 6.8 in my experience now this worked for me but as every one knows tap water or well what ever you use is almost completely different in regards to ph and ppms also be careful of ph perfect as i have seen it not work correctly so double check with a meter the original water was at 8.2ph and it did help but still never came down to a reasonable ph. next plants you should try bowl training it as i have a similar prob my last space was a closet that followed the roof pitch so one side of area was over 5 foot tall opposite side was about 2 foot tall and about 4 foot long so i had to bend and tie and supercrop to make the space work well. sorry for long ramblings lmk if those new ones are in a different thread would love to follow them as well all the best with the ladies
